  The device according to the invention has 2 flat rods tightened and articulated in their middle by a spring. These 2 rods are flared on each side of the spring and form: - 2 front legs broadly rounded and tightening on the support - 2 rear legs whose upper part goes straight up (tilted) and the lower leg forms a very rounded down hollow which will be used to accommodate the belt of the object to be suspended.

  To overcome this drawback, it is possible to manufacture a different model with the removable upper part.

  The rod (3) would stop at a third of its progression and would be hollow to allow the introduction of the 2 removable thirds and allow the pressure necessary to open the clamp to position it on the support.

  Once the clamp is installed on its support, the removable tab is removed, which allows easy installation of the strap of the bag to be hung. It can be kept in a safe place by the responsible person, so that the clamp offers an increased assurance of not being opened inadvertently, or stolen.

  1) Device for hanging handbags on a restaurant table (or any other horizontal support) characterized in that it comprises two front legs (1 and 2) articulated by a spring (5) and extending beyond this spring by two rear legs (3 and 4) which are used to actuate the two front legs which can then open widely and close on a support of variable thickness (7), the inner parts of the ends of the front legs (1 and 2 ) being lined with a non-slip material (6) to prevent slipping.   2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the lower rear tab (4) has a hollow or curved shape which allows to hang a bag handle 10 or other small objects with a strap or handle (8).   3) Device according to claim 1 or 2 characterized in that the upper rear tab (3) is provided with a removable part (3a), which allows both to open the clamp as widely as possible in the long position , and once removed, in the short position, easily hang any bag and strap accessory (8).   4) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it has ends of rounded shape and not pointed to avoid any accident or use as a weapon.   5) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is made of various materials and is in different decorative forms.
