Abstract

The pommel saddle (6) is constituted from two curved duralumin strips (1,2). The shape and camber of the strips are such that their interior surfaces fit the horse structure. The strips are connected at the front by an arch (3) bolted (8) to the strips. On the top of the arch a pommel (4) is screwed. In the rear, the strips are connected by a cantle (5) bolted to the strips. The arch and the cantle have underneath a concavity at the front and rear.

Description

DESCRIPTIONDESCRIPTION

This invention relates to a duralumin saddle tree (6) for riding horses and aerobatics on horseback. This tree is made up of five pieces of duralumin assembled by screwing and completely removable.

The saddle pommels are traditionally made of wood. To be strong enough to support the weight of the rider, the wooden tree is thick, which keeps the rider's contact away from the back of his mount. The wooden tree can split or break. To fix on the pommel blades, the different parts that will constitute the saddle (legs for fixing the quarters, front arch, rear cantilever, stirrup door ...) the wood is drilled to screw these different 10 pieces, which makes this tree cannot be dismantled like resin pommels.

The duralumin tree (6) overcomes these problems. This tree (6) consists of two curved duralumin blades (1-2) with a thickness between 3mm and 10mm and a length between 30cm and 60cm. The shape and the camber of the blades are shaped so that their interior surface matches the structure of the equine. These blades (1-2) are joined at the front by the arch (3) with a thickness between 1cm and 3cm, with a length between 15cm and 30cm and with a width between 1cn and 3cm. The arch is assembled by screwing to the blades (1-2).

On the top of the arch (3) is screwed a pommel (4) with a diameter 20 between 1cm and 3cm, with a length between 5cm and 15cm. At the rear, the blades (1-2) are joined by the cantle (5) piece made of duralumin with a thickness between 3mm and 10mm, with a length between 15cm and 30cm and with a width between 3cm and 6cm on which is welded a moon-shaped part with a thickness between 3mm and 10mm. The troussequin is assembled by screwing to the blades (1-2). The arch (3) and the cantle (5) having below, a concavity, "the freedom of withers" at the front and "the freedom of kidneys" at the rear.

The low thickness of the duralumin blades (1-2) allows the rider to be seated as close as possible to the back of the equine.

The duralumin parts that make up this tree (6), as well as the different parts that will constitute the saddle, are assembled by screwing so that, without damaging any, they can be dismantled and reassembled at will, allowing easy maintenance and the possibility of changing one of the parts that compose it.

The accompanying drawings illustrate the different parts of this duralumin tree (6): Figure 1 represents the tree (6) Figure 2 represents the tree (6) from the front Figure 3 represents the bands (1-2)
