Abstract
Système de maintien automatique à l'arrêt d'un véhicule automobile, comprenant un moteur thermique, une boîte de vitesses automatique et un frein de service piloté par un système de contrôle électronique (1), caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend des moyens pour estimer les efforts résistants appliqués au véhicule, des moyens pour calculer en fonction de cette estimation, le couple de freinage nécessaire pour maintenir le véhicule à l'arrêt et des moyens pour transmettre la valeur du couple de freinage ainsi calculé vers le système de contrôle (1) du frein de service.
