Abstract

Dispositif visant à empêcher les luxations de prothèses selon le mode sphero-spherique .L'invention porte sur un dispositif comportant une pièce A qui sert de butée à la pièce céphalique de la prothèse et dont la caractéristique est de comporter 2 parties : une partie 2 qui vient s'emboîter dans une échancrure (1) de la cupule B de façon à ce que sa surface inférieure prolonge la face inférieure de la cupule . La partie 3 de la pièce est la butée qui déborde l'équateur des 2 pièces .La pièce A est verrouillée dans l'échancrure (1) de la pièce B grâce à un double système par glissière (4) et par encliquetage (5/6) .

Description

DISPOSITIF de STABILISATION des PROTHESES TOTALES ARTICULAIRES SPHERO-
SPHERIQUES.
La présente invention (Fig. l) est un épaulement (A) adjoint aux cupules (B) des prothéses articulaires qui emboîtent une sphère pleine dans une sphère creuse qui peuvent se désolidariser par accident. Ces prothèses sont couramment utilisées à la hanche et à la base du pouce.
La pièce A vise donc à stabiliser la partie céphalique C (Fig.2) par son débord de l'equateur ee'.
La pièce A présente une partie (2) emboîtée dans une échancrure (1) située sur un quelconque axe radiaire de la cupule B. La pièce A ayant la même épaisseur que la cupule B, de ce fait la face inférieure de la partie (3) de la pièce A se trouve exactement dans le pro longement de la surface articulaire de la cupule B. Ainsi la butée (3) joue au mieux son rôle " anti-luxation ".
D'un point de vue chirurgical, le scénario opératoire se déroule de la façon suivante: - mise en place de la cupule dans son site osseux habituel en orientant toutefois l'échancrure (1) au niveau du passage habi4 $ tuel des luxations de la partie céphalique de la pièce C, c'est à
dire en position postero-superieure.
- puis mise en place de la pièce mâle C et articulation entre elles des 2 pièces B et C. - Le 3 éme temps opératoire consiste à placer la butée A dans l'échancrure (1) de la pièce B et par dessus la tête de la pièce C. De plus, l'invention prévoit également un dispositif de verrouillage de la pièce A dans la pièce B,ce dispositif est composé de deux systèmes: - Un système à glissière(4) entre les bords latéraux de la partie ( 2) de la pièce A et les bords latéraux de l'échancrure (1) de la pièce B
Tout mode dérivé de ce dispositif pourra être appliqué à l'invention.
- Un système d'encliquetage composé d'un téton ( 5) situé sur les bords de la partie ( 3) de la pièce A qui vient en contact du bord de la cupule B. Les tétons ( 5) sont introduits dans des orifices ( 6) creusés dans le rebord de la cupule B.

Claims (4)

REVENDICATIONS
1) Dispositif d'épaulement adjoint à la cupule d'une prothèse totale de type spherospherique visant à éviter la luxation accidentelle de la prothèse. Le dispositif comporte une échancrure (1) située sur un axe radiaire quelconque de la cupule B. Cette échancrure vise à recevoir la partie (2) de la pièce A dont l'autre partie (3) sert de butée qui par son débord de l'équateur des 2 pièces articulaires évitera le risque de luxation.
2) Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la face inférieure de la pièce A prolonge exactement la face inférieure articulaire de la cupule B.

3) Dispositif selon les revendications 1 et 2 caractérisé en ce que la partie (2) de la pièce
A vienne s'emboîter dans les bords de l'échancrure (1) par un système à glissière (4) dont le mode peut varier mais qui a pour rôle d'empêcher la desolidarisation de la pièce A de la cupule B.

4) Dispositif selon les revendications 1,2 et 3, caractérisé en ce que la pièce A est munie
l 5 sur ses bords qui sont en contact avec le rebord de la cupule B d'un double système d'encliquetage par pénétration de tétons (5) de la pièce A dans 2 orifices (6) placés dans le rebord de la cupule B.
