Abstract

The space management system, e.g. for a building such as an office, consists of at least one horizontal member (10) in the form of a metal extrusion designed to go above the floor at a certain height, having a channel (42) in its underside for a partition, and upper recesses (58) for cables. The system also has one or more upright posts (12) with their lower ends resting on the floor and upper ends fitted with a supports for the ends of horizontal members that can be fitted at selected angles. The space is divided by the partitions (116), which have their upper edges in channels in the horizontal members and lower edges resting on the floor. The horizontal members have additional channels in their under sides, located on either side of the central partition channel and designed to receive sliding doors. Their upper surfaces can carry light fittings (112) or additional partitions.

Description

Set of premises, including office space

  The invention relates to a set of premises, in particular office spaces, suitable for being installed on the ground. we know that the equipment of premises, in particular office spaces, is likely to evolve very quickly by implying permanent reorganizations of the premises. So, particularly with regard to office spaces, solutions are necessary to quickly change the number of people in one office space or transfer them to another office space, preserving them from noise, and enabling them to have access to different computer machines, for example, printers,

photocopiers, etc ...

  This requires the ability to modify, in an evolutionary manner, the layout of partitions and other elements capable of dividing a space into smaller spaces or compartments intended to each accommodate one or more people. premises arrangements are already known which include elements of removable structures capable of creating partitions and other dividing elements to create

modular spaces on request.

  These known solutions do not offer sufficient flexibility to allow their rapid modification according to the

desired developments.

  In particular, these known installations do not make it possible to respond to a very difficult problem which is that of the passage of cables, whether they are cables for

  strong currents or cables for weak currents.

  The transfer of information by cables usually involves either passages in the ceilings or

  passages inside raised floors.

  The passage of cables in the ceilings poses the problem of lowering the cables in a simple and aesthetic manner. In addition, the cable passages in the floors are certainly very practical, at least at the beginning, but it is found, after a few years, a dusting of the passage qualities and a certain disorder in the useful cables and those

who are no longer.

  In addition, the office layouts must make it possible to preserve the operators in isolated compartments bringing them a certain comfort and a certain sound protection. In general, the invention is concerned with the problem of producing a set of premises which is capable of meeting the following main constraints: - flexibility of installation and easy modifications, - cable transport, possibly with separation of currents strong and weak currents, - integrated lighting, - noise-absorbing protective partitions, - coherence between the modular offices and the transport of cables, and - simplicity of the legs by which the set of premises lay on the ground. To solve the above problems, the invention provides a set of premises arrangement, which comprises in combination: - at least one horizontal profile arranged to be placed at a distance from the ground and comprising a lower groove for the establishment a partition and at least one upper cavity forming a cable tray; at least one vertical mast defining a vertical axis and having a lower end suitable for resting on the ground and an upper end suitable for receiving a support mechanism designed to support the end of at least one horizontal section in a chosen angular position relative to the axis of the vertical mast; and

  at least one partition having an upper edge capable of being engaged in the lower groove of the horizontal profile and a lower edge capable of resting on the ground.

  A set of arrangements is thus proposed which offers, from a minimum of basic elements, multiple possibilities of combinations which make it possible to carry out arrangements very quickly in accordance with the

desired imperatives.

  For this, it suffices to have a set of horizontal profiles, vertical masts and support mechanism, 25 so-de-cloi7sons.

  From these various elements, an assembly team can easily carry out specific arrangements capable of forming compartments each receiving 30 or more people.

  In the present description, the qualifiers "horizontal", "vertical", "upper", "lower", etc. refer to the normal position of the elements once installed. These 35 qualifiers therefore do not intend to limit the particular characteristics of the elements to which they apply.

  The horizontal profile constitutes a key element which in particular allows the installation of a partition and which also forms a cable tray for the various cables to be passed.   The vertical mast also constitutes another key element of the layout since it allows the horizontal profiles to be supported by giving them a chosen angular position, which makes it possible to start from the profiles, and therefore from the partitions, with chosen angular positions. which are not limited only to classic 180 locations

degrees or 90 degrees.

  In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the horizontal profile is produced by extruding a material

  metallic, for example aluminum, and comprises at least one hollow reinforcing box. This makes it possible to produce a resistant profile having regard to its weight per unit of length.

  Advantageously, the lower groove of the horizontal profile is placed in the central position and framed by two lateral grooves open downwards to serve in particular for

  hanging sliding doors.

  The horizontal profile advantageously includes two upper cavities framing an upper groove arranged to receive equipment, for example lighting or partitioning. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the horizontal profile comprises a wall having, in cross section, the general shape of an U facing upwards, into which the lower groove opens, and having two marginal regions arranged to form slots directed to the

  Reference is first made to FIG. 1 which shows part of a set of premises arrangement according to the invention, comprising two horizontal profiles 10 supported by a mast

  vertical 12 by means of a support mechanism 14.

  This support mechanism 14 comprises in particular a support disc 16 on which the respective ends 18 of the profiles 10 come to rest in selected angular positions 25, here forming an angle at 90 degrees relative to

axis XX of the mast (Figure 2).

  Reference is now made to FIG. 3 to describe more particularly the structure of the profiles 10 which may also be called, for convenience, cable-carrying beams.

  The profile 10, shown in section in Figure 3 is made by extruding a metallic material, preferably aluminum or aluminum alloy. The profile offers symmetry in relation to a vertical plane P. It includes

  an outer wall 20 having the general shape of a U which turns its opening upwards. This wall 20 comprises a substantially horizontal bottom 22 and two curved wings 24 which have respective marginal regions 26 arranged

  gées to form respective slots 28 directed obliquely upward. These slots are intended to receive a wall 30 which may for example be an opaque or transparent wall. From the bottom 22 of the wall 20, extend two substantially vertical walls 32 which are arranged on either side of the vertical plane of symmetry P of the profile. These two walls are connected by two horizontal walls 34 and 36, the wall 22 providing a central opening 38. Furthermore, the two vertical walls 32 are attached to a horizontal wall 40 interrupted in the middle. In this way, the profile defines a lower groove 42 which, as will be seen below, can be used for the establishment of a vertical partition 15, and an upper groove 44 having essentially a support function for supporting, for example , lighting, a wall element, etc ..., as we will see

further.

  The profile 10 further comprises two curved walls 46 which

  each connect a vertical wall 32 to the bottom wall 22.

  In addition, two vertical walls 48 connect the bottom 22 to the

wall 46.

  The profile thus delimits a central box 50 located between

  the lower groove 42 and the upper groove 44 and two lateral boxes 52 which frame the lower groove 42.

  These two boxes 52 are framed by two lateral grooves 54 which are open and open downwards through 30 respective openings 56 arranged in the bottom 22. As

  we see in Figure 3, the profile thus delimits two upper cavities 58, symmetrical on either side of the floor, which frame the upper groove 44, and each forming a cable tray, that is to say a clean receptacle 35 to receive various cables, as will be seen below.

  As can also be seen in FIG. 3, stiffening ribs 60 and 62 are formed respectively above and below the partition 36, and another rib of

  stiffening 64 is formed above the wall 34.

  Reference is again made to FIGS. 1 and 2. The support mechanism 14 makes it possible to support one or more profiles in a chosen angular position relative to the axis X-X. The disc 16 has a circular opening 66 for the passage of the mast 12, which also has a circular section. The disc 16 can be immobilized in an axial position chosen at a distance from the upper end 68 of the mast, which moreover comprises a lower end 70 suitable for resting on the ground S, either directly or indirectly by means of a base 71 possibly fitted with an adjustment jack. 15

  The support disc 16 is immobilized by blocking means 72 shown diagrammatically in FIG. 2. These blocking means can be produced in different ways. It may be, for example, a stop ring 20 held by a pin 73.

  The end 18 of the profile 10 is made integral with a bracket 74 which comprises a horizontal branch 76 suitable for being secured to the end 18 of the horizontal profile 25 and a vertical branch 78 suitable for extending along the mast 10. The horizontal branch 76 of the bracket 74 is provided with a plate 80 capable of lying flat on the support disc 16. The outer end of the horizontal branch 76 of the bracket is engaged in the lower groove 42 30 of the profile, while the plate 80 is applied below the profile, that is to say against the bottom 22. The bracket is secured to the profile by any appropriate means, by

example by bolting.

  The support mechanism further comprises a support disc 82 which is applied against the upper end 68 of the mast 12. This support disc 82 has an outside diameter greater than the outside diameter of the mast 12 to form a flange extending beyond the outside the mast. The support disc 82 is biased in support by means of a tie rod 84 which crosses the mast over its entire length and which is fixed to the lower end of the mast 70, for example by a threaded rod and a nut 85 At its upper end, the tie rod 5 ends in a threaded portion 86 suitable for receiving a

  clamping nut 88 bearing against the bearing disc 82 by means of a washer 90. The clamping action of the nut makes it possible to tighten each of the brackets 74 in the axial direction of the mast, that is to say say in the vertical 10 direction.

  The support mechanism 14 is equipped with indexing means which make it possible to place each profile in a chosen angular position, at angular intervals equal to 15,150, in the example considered. The indexing means comprise first means provided on the support disc and on the horizontal branch. The horizontal branch 76 of the bracket comprises a tongue 92 (FIG. 3) which engages in a selected radial slot 94 of the support disc 16 (appear) as well as two holes 96 made in the plate 80 and suitable for cooperating with lugs 98 projecting from the disc 14, the reverse configuration being possible. The means further comprise second indexing means provided between the bracket and the support disc 82. The vertical branch 78 of the bracket is extended by a tongue 100 suitable for engaging in a selected radial slot 102 of the

support disc 82.

  Thus, once the nut 88 is tightened, each profile is maintained in a chosen angular position. If it is desired to modify this angular position, it suffices to loosen the nut to separate the support disc 82 from the support disc 35 and angularly move the end of the profile to bring it into another chosen angular position. and tighten the nut 88 again. As can be seen in FIG. 1, the support mechanism further comprises a balancing square 104 which is similar to the square 74 il and which is placed between the support disc 16 and the support disc 82 in a location which does not receive a horizontal profile, to reinforce the parallelism between the two

discs 16 and 82.

  Referring now to Figure 4 o we see in section a first horizontal section 10 and in side view another horizontal section 10 making an angle of 900 relative to the first. We also see in Figure 4 the support disc 10 16 on which rest the ends of the two sections and the

  corresponding mast 12. One of the slots 28 of the profile receives a wall 30 which can serve, for example, to enlarge the cavities 58 in which cables 106 and 108 are placed.

  The upper groove 44 of the profile can serve different purposes. It can receive, for example, an acoustic box

  which will ensure noise absorption and which then rises up to a few centimeters from the ceiling (not shown). The groove 44 can also be used to house a lighting device 112 with which a reflector 114 can be associated, for example.

  The arrangement assembly shown in FIG. 4 further comprises a partition 116 comprising a noise absorption panel 118. The lower horizontal edge of the panel is received in a profile 120 which rests on the ground S by means of adjustment cylinders 122. The upper horizontal edge of the panel 118 is received in the groove of a horizontal upper profile 124 which delimits an upper groove 126 facing upwards. A male tongue 128 is received in the lower groove 42 of the profile 10 and in the groove 126 of the profile 124, which allows position adjustments in the groove 42, as a function of variations in the height of the ground. FIG. 4 also illustrates a sliding door 130 comprising a partition 132, for example a glass partition, the lower edge of which is received in a profile 134 fitted with rollers 136 suitable for rolling on the ground S and the upper edge of which is received in a profile 138 used for mounting a rolling mechanism 140 which, in the example, comprises two rollers 142 received in one of the lateral grooves 54 of the

horizontal profile 10.

  Reference is now made to FIG. 5 which shows a mast 12 formed by extruding a metallic material, for example based on aluminum. The profile is delimited by a cylindrical wall 143 and it includes a central hole 144 for the passage of a tie rod 84 (Figure 2). The profile comprises four main grooves 146 to 900 from each other and four secondary grooves 148 also to 900 from each other, each offset by 450 relative to a main groove. This provides eight grooves offering eight possibilities

  of implantation of the partitions at angular intervals of 450. The grooves 146 and 148 each have a narrower opening than their bottom, which makes it possible to delimit facing edges, respectively 150 for the grooves 146 and 152 for the gorges 148.

  Each of the partitions 116 is provided with a vertical profile 154 having two opposite branches 156 adapted to bear against two branches 158 of a joining profile 160 having 25 latching lips 162 suitable for engaging either

  a groove 146, or in a groove 148. In the example shown, two partitions 116 are fixed to a main groove 146 to 90 from each other, while another partition is engaged in a secondary groove 148. The branches 156 30 and the branches 158 are held by U-shaped profiles 164.

  This partition may include at its other vertical end a vertical profile 154 similar to the previous one and allow the junction with another partition element. In the example, the profile 154, located to the right of FIG. 5, is connected to a profile 166 using U-profiles 164 similar to those described above. This profile 166 houses a profile 168 provided with a slot 170 for housing the panel, for example the glass panel, of a sliding door 130 as described above. In the embodiment of FIG. 6, a mast 12 similar to the mast 12 previously described is used, except that it here comprises three main grooves 170 arranged at angular intervals of 1200 and secondary grooves 172 5 arranged at angular intervals by 1200, the main grooves 170 and the secondary grooves 172 being offset each time by 600. There are thus six grooves 600 from each other. It is thus understood that it is possible to use, as desired, either a mast 12 as shown in FIG. 5, 10 or a mast 12 as shown in FIG. 6, providing twenty four possibilities for angular implantation,

  arranged 150 from each other.

  The arrangement of the invention thus provides a multitude of possible layouts from a small number of different elements. By using masts which may belong to one or more different types, and by using horizontal profiles which can be cut to the desired length and be placed each time with an angular orientation chosen between two support masts,

  provides a multitude of possible locations.

  This makes it possible to define a kind of mesh or network, in which the horizontal profiles allow the passage of 25 cables of different natures for supplying the various stations concerned. In addition, these horizontal profiles, in combination with the masts, make it possible to support different types of partitions as well as other accessories, in particular lighting. The device of the invention thus offers great flexibility of use and can be easily transformed, or even disassembled and transported to another place. It finds a main application in the arrangement of office spaces. The horizontal profile can be produced with different shapes and dimensions. It will most often consist of a profile having a width of the order of 20 to 30 cm and a height of 10 to 15 cm, these

  dimensions being given only by way of example.

Claims (18)

claims   1. A set of premises, in particular spaces of 5 offices, suitable for being installed on the ground, characterized in that it comprises in combination: - at least one horizontal profile (10) arranged to be placed at a distance from the floor (S) and comprising a lower groove (42) 10 for the installation of a partition and at least one upper cavity (58) forming a cable tray; - At least one vertical mast (12) defining a vertical axis (XX) and having a lower end (70) adapted to rest on the ground and an upper end (68) suitable for receiving a support mechanism (14) arranged to support the end (18) of at least one horizontal profile (10) in an angular position chosen relative to the axis of the vertical mast; and - at least one partition (116) having an upper edge capable of   be engaged in the lower groove (42) of the horizontal profile and a lower edge (120) able to rest on the ground.   2. Arrangement according to claim 1, characterized in that the horizontal profile (10) is produced by extruding a metallic material and comprises at least   a hollow reinforcement box (50, 52).   3. Arrangement according to one of claims 1 30 and 2, characterized in that the lower groove (42) of the   horizontal profile (10) is arranged in the central position and framed by two lateral grooves (54) open downwards, in particular for hanging a sliding door (130).   4. Arrangement according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the horizontal profile (10) comprises two upper cavities (58) framing a groove   upper (44) arranged to receive equipment, for example   example lighting (112) or partitioning (110).   5. Arrangement according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the vertical mast (12) is produced by extruding a metallic material and comprises a cylindrical wall and a multiplicity of grooves (146, 148 ; 170,   172) which open into the cylindrical wall at selected angular positions and which are arranged to receive   in particular the vertical edge of a partition (116).   7. Arrangement according to claim 6, characterized in that the vertical mast (12) comprises eight   grooves (146, 148) spaced two by two at an angle of 45.   8. Arrangement according to claim 6, characterized in that the vertical mast (12) comprises six   grooves (170, 172) spaced two by two at an angle of 600.   9. Arrangement according to one of claims 6 to 8, characterized in that the vertical mast (12) comprises a central housing (144).   10. Arrangement according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the support mechanism (14) comprises a support disc (16) capable of being immobilized relative to the mast (12), the disc support being provided with a   central opening (66) for the passage of the mast and indexing means for placing the end (18) of a horizontal profile in a chosen angular position.   11. Arrangement according to claim 10, characterized in that the support mechanism comprises a bracket (74) comprising a horizontal branch (76) suitable for being secured to the end (18) of the horizontal profile 5 and a branch vertical (78) adapted to extend along the mast, as well as a support disc (82) placed at the upper end of the mast, at a distance above the support disc, and clamping means ( 84, 86, 88) arranged to tighten the bracket (74) between the support disc (16) and the support disc (82) in a chosen angular position, determined by means of indexing.   12.
