Abstract

The invention relates to a pocket container/sorter for metal pieces, such as coins. The inventive device comprises at least eight different containers for the coins which are arranged in a flat manner. Each container (13) can only receive coins having the same value, such that there is one container (13) for each coin value. Moreover, each container (13) is provided with a device for inserting the coins and a device for the rapid removal of same. In addition, the device also comprises a container that is used to store coins of any value before they are sorted and said all-coin container can be quickly filled with coins without being opened.
