Abstract

Automatic machine for skinning dead sheep and similar animals, has a plate (2) with a chamfered edge and a raised tip (1), mounted on the end of a power cylinder (4). The plate can have wheels or rollers to help it slide between the skin of an animal and the membrane covering the muscles beneath the skin, with the chamfered edges permitting a movement to and fro without damaging the flesh.

1) Device to allow skinning of animals and recovery of skins.

Device comprising a rolling or sliding plate (2) (cf. variant) actuated by a jack and introduced between the skin and the flesh of the animal.

2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the plate which has at its end a raised (1) allowing the detachment of the skin without damaging the flesh.

3) Device according to claim 1 characterized with regard to the rollers (3) which allow an easy translational movement.

4) Device according to claim 1 characterized with regard to the chamfers (5 & 6) which participate in forward and return to the skinning of the animal while minimizing the intervention time.
