Abstract

The device according to the invention is intended to facilitate working of the arms in cross-country Nordic skiing. It makes it possible: - to position the stick more easily in the force position when starting working of the arms in cross-country Nordic skiing; - to ensure complete cohesion of the wrist with the stick; - to ensure the safety of the user in the event of violent rearward pulling of the stick during the displacement of the user. It consists of a handle 1 whose longitudinal axis forms an angle "d" with respect to the axis of the tube 9 of the stick, of a strap 6 for encircling the wrist, sewn onto a pulling strap 3, and of a handle 1 which can be ejected from the tube 9.

Description

DESCRIPTION
The present invention is a handle of Nordic cross-country ski pole, it facilitates the work of the arms during the execution of any technique in Nordic cross-country skiing.

 Traditionally the handle of the stick is left in line with the body of the stick. The wrist strap that holds the wrist of the hand is a simple strap starting from the head of the stick and returning to it by simple buckling. This system does not facilitate the dive of the stick at the expense of the motor time of the arm. The wrist strap has the defect of sliding along the hand during the motor work of the arm and the defect of being able to escape from the hand at the start of the relaxed arm return. -The device according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks.

Indeed, the axis of the handle of the stick makes an angle between 150 and 400 in the sagittal plane with the axis of the body of the stick. This angle has the advantage of helping the placement of the point of the stick behind the wrist, and thus increasing the horizontal component resulting from the arm pull. The angulation of the handle also allows for relaxed arm traction, the forearm muscles not having to contract to hold the stick
Traditionally, user safety is only ensured by the lack of cohesion between the wrist strap and the wrist. forearm backwards, the whole body being thrown forward, it is the sliding of the strap that allows the release of the hand.

The device according to the invention comprises a wrist strap which allows total cohesion between the handle of the stick and the wrist of the hand. Indeed the strap consists of two distinct parts sewn together:
- a strap held at the head of the stick by a wedge which blocks it in a meatus made in the head of the stick;
- a strap provided with a "velcro", sewn perpendicular to the strap which is hung on the head of the stick. The "velcro" has at one end a return ring which allows an easy and assured tightening of the wrist not varying during the movement.

 The cohesion being perfect, the user cannot lose control of the stick.

 In order to ensure the safety of the user, the handle handle assembly is fitted onto the top of the tube of the body of the stick. The stick handle - stick tube solidarity is ensured by a groove in the lower part of the handle which clips onto a ring secured to the tube. The handle of the stick can also be dislodged during a violent pull.

 According to a variant, the strap attached to the head of the stick is replaced by a rigid U-shaped piece. The mobility is ensured by an axis laterally crossing the top of the piece and the head of the stick.

 Alternatively, the "velcro" is replaced by a set of buttons and buttonholes.

 According to a variant, the "velcro" is replaced by a set of metal hooks which fit into metal rings.

 According to a variant, the "velcro" is reinforced by an additional "velcro" coming to fall back on the main "velcro".

 Alternatively, the handle of the stick has a bulge on the outside which facilitates the placement of the hand in external rotation.

 The device according to the invention is particularly intended to facilitate the work of the arms in Nordic cross-country skiing.

 The device represented in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 comprises a stick handle (1) provided with a meatus (2) letting through a traction strap (3) blocked by a corner (4) (drawn here disengaged) provided with spikes (5), sewn to a tightening strap (6).

 The strap (6) is provided with a ring (7) and with a "velcro" system (8).

 The handle (1) is fitted onto the tube (9) which forms an angle "d" to the folds (10).

 The cohesion of the socket is ensured by clipping the lower part of the handle which has a groove (11) which is blocked on a ring (12) glued to the tube (9).

 FIG. 3 represents a variant for which the strap (3) is replaced by a U-shaped part (13) articulated at the head of the handle (1) by an axis (14).

 1) This device making it possible to facilitate the work of the arms for the practice of Nordic cross-country skiing is characterized in that it comprises a divergence in the sagittal plane between the axis of the tube (9) of the stick and the axis of the handle (1). This divergence is characterized by the angle "d" between 150 and 400.  2) The device according to claim 1 is characterized in that it comprises a strap in two separate parts sewn one on the other, a traction strap (3) adjustable in length and a wrist tightening strap ( 6).  3) The device according to claim 1 is characterized in that it comprises a handle (1) ejectable upwards and secured to the tube (9) by a clip assembly represented by a ring (12).
