Abstract

The keel shock absorbing device comprises damping means allowing a controlled rearwards displacement of the keel along the boat hull longitudinal axis (19). The damping means are constituted by a movable connection (1,4,5,6), provided with an axial shock absorber (7,8,18), for the keel web (16) and/or a shock absorber (12) associated with the rearwards tipping axis (10) of the keel web.
