Abstract

Device for automatically controlling the level of an overflow swimming bath has a number of mechanical level sensors or floats that enable determination of whether a sensor is faulty and if the detected level is correct. The device determines what effect is causing the bath to be too full and allows an optimum correction of the detected effect. Detection of which of three effects is causing a bath to be too full, overflowing of the main bath to the buffer tank during bathing when the filter plant is not operating, excess water (rain) or return of water through a leaking non-return valve in the filtration circuit and correction of the water excess by emptying by opening an electric valve, emptying into the buffer tank or evaporation.

The present invention relates to a device which automatically regulates the water level of an overflow swimming pool (FIG. 1). The device according to the invention makes it possible to distinguish between the various phenomena.

provoquant un trop-plein, et ainsi de remédier efficacement aux phénomènes détectés.  causing an overflow, and thus effectively remedy the phenomena detected.

La correction de niveau  Three types of phenomena can cause the Overflow: 1. Overflow from the main basin to the buffer tank during swimming outside the filtration period 2. Excess water (rain) 3. Return of water through the filtration circuit (leak Non-return valve) Starting the pump (by forced operation) only lowers the level if there is an imbalance between the main tank and the buffer tank (case [1] and [3 ]). Level correction

s'effectue alors en quelques minutes.  then takes a few minutes.

En effet, les dispositifs actuels provoquent: - Soit, une marche forcée de la pompe jusqu'à ce que le niveau soit rétabli (par évaporation, par  Currently, we do not know of any device allowing to optimally regulate an overflow due to an excess of water. Indeed, the current devices cause: - Either, a forced operation of the pump until the level is restored (by evaporation, by

temps prédéterminé, aucune surveillance du système n'est assurce (débordement non-contrôlé).  predetermined time, no system monitoring is ensured (uncontrolled overflow).

The device according to the invention allows it to better manage the phenomenon of overflow caused by an excess of water, this thanks to an electronic card which allows the monitoring of the system at intervals.

de temps variable ou régulier.of variable or regular time.

In case of excess water (insufficient pump action), there are 3 possibilities to reduce the volume of water: a) Drain by drain solenoid valve b) Drain by overflow c) Evaporation For overflows caused by cases 1 and 3, a 10 minute run of the pump is

suffisante pour rétablir les niveaux entre piscine et bac tampon.  sufficient to restore the levels between swimming pool and buffer tank.

When this time is exceeded, a drain solenoid valve is started for 20 minutes.

If before 20 minutes the level is restored, the system resumes its classic regulation cycle.

Par contre, si après 20 minutes le niveau n'est pas rétabli, on considère que l'on est en excès  By cons, if after 20 minutes the level is not restored, we consider that we are in excess

d'eau. There is no point in trying to restore the level using the pump.

L'idée consiste alors:The idea then consists:

- Let the level rise in the buffer tank.

To determine what is the state of the buffer tank with variable time interval over time as

A part of the product concerned by the invention and which allows level detection is a level detection chute. This chute is characterized by the fact that it is not made up of level probes but of level sensors which act mechanically and which allow at any time to know if a sensor is damaged, and if the detected level is correct . In addition, this chute is pierced with small orifices which make it possible to minimize the inlet and outlet flows of

The other part of the invention is an electrical box regulated by an electronic card. This card is partly composed of a microcontroller which notably manages the different time delays of the system.
