Abstract

The thread tapping tool has a housing (1) receiving a sliding V-shaped jaw (3) actuated by a thumb wheel (5) which is held in position by a locking screw fitting in a rectangular window. The housing also has a slide point carrier (6) pushed along a guide in one handle (2) threaded into the housing. The tap handles can be extended using spring detents to vary the leverage.
