Abstract

The bread bin incorporates a crumb remover which comprises a recovery tray (8) surrounded by rims (9) with a rod (10) in its center terminated by a button (11) which allows the remover to be manually slid inside the bin. The bread bin is in the shape of a square column in which a removable cover is encastred.

 The present invention relates to a bread bin with a removable cover and a device for recovering crumbs and small pieces of bread accumulated in the bottom thereof.

 Bread cradles are traditionally provided with a drawer which is located at the bottom of the latter, at ground level, thus forcing the user to bend down. Its opening is, moreover, made difficult by the presence of small pieces of bread in the bottom of the hutch.

 Some, however, have no crumb recovery system and must be knocked over by the user, who must simultaneously keep the lid open, usually fixed by hinges.

 The bread bin according to the invention provides the effective and original solution to these drawbacks.

 The device is taken up manually by means of a button (11) fixed to the top of the rod (10).

 The hutch (fig. 2) consists of four panels (1) on the edges of which are glued corner strips (2. these panels are held at the top and bottom by an overhanging frame (3). The one at the top contains an inner rebate (4) on which rests the removable cover (5) which can be grasped using a button (6) fixed in its center.The hutch has a fixed bottom plate (7). ventilation is achieved through the holes (Ibis) drilled in the rear panel of the hutch.

Claims 1) Device for raising the crumbs and small pieces of bread from the bottom of the hutch, characterized in that it comprises a collecting plate (8) surrounded by flanges (9) with, in its center, a baguette (10) terminated by a button (11) for manually sliding the device in question (Figure 2) inside the hutch.  2) Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the hutch is in the form of a square column (Fig. 2) or other, on which is fitted a removable cover.  3) Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the cover is removable and eliminates the traditional hinged cover system.
