Abstract

Electrical contact member of the type intended to be inserted into a hole in a track of an electrical circuit comprising a body (1) with, at one end, means (2, 4) for fixing an electrical conductor, characterized in that the body (1) has means for fixing a spring engaged in said body, the latter, on the side opposite to the fixing means of the electrical conductor being extended by tongues (20, 28) having, in the vicinity of their free end, a contact part (21, 29) intended to cooperate with the circuit, one of the tabs being shaped to present a ring (27) in which the free end of the other tabs is inserted, while the spring has branches (34, 35) bearing against the internal face of the contact parts and tending to separate them.

  The side 7 is extended by a tongue 20 present

  The free end 25 is extended laterally by two bars 23, 26 which extend, one on one side, and the other on the other side and which are folded to form a

ring 27.

  The side 10 is extended by a tab 28 presented

  as long, at its free end, a finger 30 which is inserted in the ring 27. In the vicinity of finger 30, the tongue 28

  is shaped to have a part 29 in the shape of an

  cylindrical slide and constituting the electric contact part

  In the body 1 is inserted a U-shaped spring 32 with a core 33 and two branches 34 and 35, said spring 32 being mounted so that the core 33 is locked by the retaining tabs 15, while the free ends of the branches 34 and 35 cooperate respectively with the electrical contact parts 21 and 29 and tend to

dismiss them.

  As seen in Figures 3, 4 and 5, the electrical contact member according to the invention is intended to be housed in the channel 41 of a housing element 40, of which

  one of the walls is formed by a movable elastic bar

  that 42 provided, at an intermediate point of its length, with a lug 44 intended to be inserted in one or the other of the

  openings 18 and 19, the member being able to be engaged in the channel in two positions offset by 180.

  The housing element 40 is intended to be applied to a circuit 46 pierced with a hole 47 intended to receive the

parts 21 and 29.

  So that before mounting the housing element 40 on the circuit 46 it can be verified that the electrical contact member is properly inserted and locked in the channel 41, a test is carried out. Figures 4 and 5 show the test member which comprises a body 49 pierced with a hole 59 for the passage of parts 21 and 29 and on its side facing the housing member 40 two projections 51

and 52.

  1. Electric contact member of the type intended to be inserted into a hole (47) in a track of a circuit   electric and comprising a body (1, 60) made of a material   material which is a good conductor of electricity and having, at one end, means (2, 4, 61, 62) for fixing an electric conductor, characterized in that the means for fixing the electric conductor are integral with a body having means (15, 67) for fixing a spring (32, 80) engaged in said body, the latter, on the side opposite to the means for fixing the electrical conductor   being extended by tabs (20, 28, 68, 69, 70) pre-   feeling, in the vicinity of their free end, a contact part (21, 29, 68a, 69a) intended to cooperate with the   circuit, one of the tabs being shaped to present   ter a ring (27, 72) into which the li-   bre of the other tongues, while the spring has branches (84, 34, 35) bearing against the internal face   contact parts and tending to spread them.   2.
