Electrical box (2), in particular of the terminal cover type, comprising -a bottom (4) intended to serve as a support for at least one electrical device such as for example a modular device of circuit breaker type, - a cover (6) intended to cover the bottom (4) and the device at least one of which it supports, and - latching means (24, 36, 38) between the cover and the bottom, characterized in that the bottom is equipped with a tab (14) extending substantially in the latching direction of the cover (6) on the bottom (4) and the cover (6) is equipped with an opening (32) allowing the passage of at least the free end (20) of the tab (14), or vice versa, in that the opening (32) is crossed by a breakable bridge (34) obstructing the passage of the tab (14), and in that the opening (32) and the tab (14) are arranged in such a way that in the snap-in position of the cover (6) on the bottom (4), the tab (14) is engaged in the opening, the trigger guard (34) having then been broken.

2. Electrical box according to claim 1, characterized in that the trigger guard (34) is narrower at its ends than at its center.

3. Electrical cabinet according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the cover (6) has a front face (26) surrounded by lateral faces (28) and in that the opening (32) is made on the front face (26) of the cover.

4. Electrical box according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the tab (14) is integral with the bottom (4) of the box and has at its free end (20) a bore (22) passing through it transversely.

5. Electrical box according to claim 4, characterized in that grooves (42) are formed on the cover (6), on either side of the opening (32), the grooves (42) extending in a substantially normal direction at the edge of the opening.

6. Electrical box according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that it comprises at least two tabs (14) and two corresponding openings (32).

7. An assembly formed by an electrical box (2) according to one of claims 1 to 6 and a package (41) surrounding the electrical box.

8. An assembly according to claim 7, characterized in that the package (41) consists of a sheet of heat shrinkable plastic.

9. An assembly according to one of claims 7 or 8, characterized in that each free end (20) of tab is in abutment against the ruptible trigger guard (34) of the corresponding opening (32).
