Abstract

The disinfectant disperser is fixed inside the container and has multiple compartments (5) each containing an active material. The compartments are initially closed and can be opened at different times to diffuse their contents into the container. At least one of the compartments can be closed by a film (30,32) to be removed to allow diffusion of the active material.

Description

The present invention relates to a device for broadcasting at least one

  active ingredient in a bin for waste collection.

  The development of selective waste collection leads to a

  modification of the composition of the waste in the collection bins.

  Clean and dry waste constitutes a first category of waste which

  are generally separated and stored in bins provided for this purpose.

  The rest of the waste constitutes a second category of waste in the form of a mixture or two separate fractions of waste, the waste

  biodegradable, also called bio-waste, and other waste.

  Waste in the second category, as a mixture or separately

  are an obstacle to selective sorting for the population.

  Indeed, the frequency of collection tends to increase, which has the disadvantage of generating odor nuisance and deteriorating conditions

hygiene at the level of the tanks.

  Advantageously, the housing is able to be removed from the support and the latter is

  It is thus possible to recharge the device with active ingredients in a simple manner. Advantageously, the device includes an indicator system capable of indicating

  on the inner surface of the cover.

  Preferably, the device comprises a protective member to protect the compartments against external mechanical attack, in particular by

  preventing the compartments from coming into contact with the waste contained in the bin.

  This avoids any tearing or degradation of the closure means of the

  compartments such as films or covers.

  In a particular embodiment, the protection member comprises a grid.

  Advantageously, the protective member is arranged to hold the housing

  The device 2 comprises a box 4 provided with five shaped compartments 5

  screws 11 engaging in threads made on the cover 3.

  Each compartment 5 contains a matrix-forming product presenting

  in the form of a gel in which active ingredients have been incorporated.

  These are made up of disinfectants and deodorants.

  The active ingredients having a deodorant role can be chosen to, for example, neutralize odor particles such as: sulfur compounds,

  nitrogen compounds, aldehyde compounds, ketone compounds, organic acids.

  The active ingredients are in the form of volatile substances which can

  diffuse in the surrounding space of the device 2.

  The compartments 5 are initially closed each by means of a seal.

  To obtain a diffusion of the active ingredients in the interior space of the tank 1, one of the compartments 5 is opened by piercing the cover 7 covering the corresponding opening 6. As can be seen in FIG. 1, the first compartment 5 on the left is open, the cover 7 having an orifice 12 allowing the active ingredients contained

  in this compartment 5 open to diffuse in the interior space of the tank 1.

  The device 2 comprises a protective grid 13 partially shown in FIG. 1 making it possible to protect the compartments 5, in particular the lids 7 closing them, from external mechanical attacks, in particular the contact of the waste

  contained in tray 1 with these compartments 5.

  In the example described, the grid 13 extends over the entire length of the device 2.

  The grid 13 is movable in rotation around the axis X formed by a flange

longitudinal cover 3.

  As can be seen in FIG. 2, the grid 13 is locked by locking means 14 during its use in the closed position, protecting the

device 2.

  We will now describe the mode of use of the device 2.

  During the first use, an opening is made in the cover 7 of a

  compartment 5 so as to allow the active principles contained therein to diffuse.

  When this opening is carried out, the date indicated on the indicator system 8 is modified so as to indicate the date on which it is necessary to proceed to

  the opening of a closed compartment 5.

  The determination of this new date is carried out by taking into account the lifetime of a compartment 5, that is to say the time after which the quantity of

  active ingredients remaining in the latter becomes weak.

  As can be seen in Figure 1, the date of the next opening of a

  compartment 5 corresponds to January 15th.

  In the example described, each compartment 5 has a lifetime

about three months.

  The total life of the device 2 is therefore substantially fifteen months.

  Fifteen months after the installation of the housing 4 on the cover 3, the housing 4 is changed by dismantling it and by installing a new housing 4. The invention thus makes it possible to obtain a disinfecting and deodorizing effect

  substantially continuous for fifteen months.

  When a compartment 5 is opened and / or the housing 4 is changed, the protective grid 13 is tilted to the open position so that

  access the housing 4 and this grid 13 is closed after each operation on the latter.

  FIG. 3 shows a device 20 according to a second mode of

  embodiment comprising a support 21 and a protective grid 22.

  The housing 23 of the support 21 or 21 ′ has a bottom wall and four side walls perpendicular to the bottom wall, namely two facing walls 23a and

two parallel walls 23b.

  The facing walls 23a each have a concave curvature 26 towards

the exterior of the accommodation 23.

  When the housing 24 or 25 is introduced into the housing 23, the curvatures 26 of the walls 23a each define a passage 27 between the housing 24 or 25 and the support 21

or 21 '.

  The passages 27 allow a manipulator to pass one or more

  fingers to grasp the housing 24 or 25 to remove it from the housing 23.

  Maintaining the housing 24 or 25 in the housing 23 can be ensured

different ways.

  A first way of doing this consists in making the support 21 or 21 'in a

  plastic material more rigid than that in which the housing 24 or 25 is made.

  Thus by making the housing 24 or 25 with dimensions slightly greater than the dimensions of the housing 23, it is possible to force the housing

  In the example described, three of the five compartments 5 are open.

  The housing 25 shown in Figures 6 and 7 is substantially similar to the

housing 24.

  Unlike the latter, the housing 25 comprises a single film 32

  heat-sealed initially covering the five compartments 5.

  The compartment 5 is opened by pulling on a tab 33 of the

  film 32 to partially detach the latter from the housing 25.

  Figure 6 shows the housing 25 when the five compartments 5 are

closed.

  Figure 7 shows the housing 25 when one of the compartments 5 is open. The films 31 and 32 of the boxes 24 and 25 are made of a transparent material. To know the date on which a new compartment 5 must be opened, a substance which changes color or color is incorporated into the product contained in compartments 5 when the quantity of active principles contained in a

  compartment 5 open becomes weak.

  Thus, visual observation of the tint or color of the product of an open compartment 5 makes it possible to know when the opening of a new compartment 5

is necessary.

  Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiments which

  One can in particular open one or more compartments simultaneously

depending on the time of year.

  You can, for example, open only one compartment during winter and two

Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the active ingredient or ingredients contained in the compartments (5) are chosen from:   disinfectants, insecticides, insect repellents, deodorants, perfumes.   3. Device according to one of claims i and 2, characterized in that at   at least one of the compartments (5) is initially closed by a film (30; 32) capable of being   removed to allow the active ingredient (s) contained in this compartment to diffuse.   4. Device according to any one of the preceding claims,   characterized in that at least one of the compartments (5) is initially closed by a cover (7) capable of being pierced to allow the active ingredient (s) contained in this compartment (5).   5. Device according to any one of the preceding claims,   characterized by the fact that the active principle (s) are incorporated or mixed with a matrix-forming product and by the fact that the said product is in particular in the form   of: liquid, gel, solid, or granules.   6. Device according to claim 5, characterized in that the matrix-forming product comprises constituents giving it a different coloring according to the   amount of active ingredients it contains.   7. Device according to any one of the preceding claims,   characterized by the fact that it comprises a support (21; 21 ') fixed on the tank (1) and a housing (24; 25) comprising compartments (5), said housing (24; 25) engaging in or sure said support (21; 21).   8.
