Abstract

The bathroom unit comprises a lavatory compartment (2) in which a pan (6) is placed and a technical compartment (3) comprising cleaning means (15). A toilet seat (8,9) is displaceable between the lavatory compartment and the technical compartment. The toilet seat is transferred between compartments by a rotating system (10) on which two toilet seats are mounted so that one of them can be placed above the pan. The other seat is placed in the technical compartment until the end of cleaning. Complementary cleaning means (20) for the pan mounted on the rotating system comprise a rotating shaft (11) which can be periodically positioned above the pan.
