Une fois en place ce support se balance légèrement au gré des déplacements d'air, animation qui le distingue d'un support fixe ; disposé à la vue des clients sa présence est immédiatement remarquée d'où son intérêt. Selon une deuxième caractéristique, il comporte un moyen de clipage rapide constitué d'un rectangle de longueur libre aux extrémités repliables pour rigidifier la feuille et consolider l'attache dans les feuillures filantes du support d'indice des prix et dont la hauteur est égale au développé du support d'indice des prix ; de plus un congé découpé de part et d'autre de la naissance du manche flexible permet de le dégager hors de la feuillure filante du porte étiquette. L'animation et le clipage découlent de la découpe de la feuille, laquelle a la forme générale d'une clé. Un congé (5) de part et d'autre de la naissance du manche flexible (6) permet de le dégager hors de la feuillure filante (3). Le congé (5) sert de moyen de fixation. Le manche flexible (6) est de forme particulière et fait office de ressort, développant ainsi l'animation. Le dispositif comporte enfin une surface imprimable (7) destinée à recevoir un message publicitaire. Le poids de la surface imprimable (7) fait plier le manche flexible (6) donnant ainsi à la surface imprimable (7) un équilibre instable qu'un simple mouvement d'air perturbe, entraînant une oscillation de l'ensemble constitué du manche flexible (6) et de la surface imprimable (7).
