Abstract

The present invention relates to a washing tub (5) of the extractable drawer type with a seal (12). The gasket is connected to a bellows box (14) which expands when the drawer (5) is opened and compresses when the drawer is closed, in order to expand the elastic gasket (12).

EXTRACTABLE

  The present invention relates to a dishwasher of the type comprising a cabinet having one or more extractable drawers, each of which substantially constitutes, when in the closed position, a separate washing tub. A dishwasher of this type is described in document US-A-5,470,142. According to this solution, the washing tub forming a drawer is accessible, when it is in the extracted position, through an upper opening whose edge must be however create a seal against the furniture when the drawer is closed. This is achieved by means of a lifting mechanism which activates a sealing cover

  only when the drawer is completely closed.

  This solution turns out to be too complex and exposed to

mechanical tailgating.

  It is also known to insert between the upper edge of the drawer and the piece of furniture a filling that can be inflated, so as to exert the necessary seal, only when the drawer is in

  closed position and the machine is started.

  In particular, the lining is inflated using a small motor-compressor which is specially activated by the programmer of the machine. This solution proves unsatisfactory, in particular because it requires delicate and expensive additional components. The object of the present invention is to provide a dishwasher with a washing tub forming an extractable and reclosable drawer using a particularly simple, economical, reliable and efficient sealing system. According to the invention, this object is achieved in a dishwasher comprising at least one washing tub of the type forming a drawer extractable from a piece of furniture, the drawer having an upper opening between the edge of which and a surface of the piece of furniture is inserted hollow lining normally deflated and able to be expanded to create a seal when the drawer is in the closed position, characterized in that the lining is connected to at least one fluid bellows box which is normally expanded when said drawer is in the withdrawn position and can be deformed when the drawer is brought into the closed position, so as to reduce its volume and dilate the elastic lining

  using a corresponding volume of fluid.

  Referring to the figures, the dishwasher mainly comprises a cabinet 4 having at least one washing tub 5 of the type produced in the form of an extractable drawer. To this end, the drawer 5 must be understood to be sliding horizontally relative to the cabinet 4 by means of sliding guides known per se and not shown. Dishwasher comprising at least one washing tub of the type forming a drawer extractable from a piece of furniture (4), the drawer (5) having an upper opening (9) between the edge (10) of which and a surface (11 ) a hollow lining (12) normally deflated and capable of being expanded to create a seal when the drawer is in the closed position, is inserted between the furniture, characterized in that the lining (12) is connected to at least one bellows box (14) which is normally expanded when said drawer (5) is in the extracted position and can be deformed when the drawer is brought into the closed position, so as to reduce its volume and to expand the elastic lining   (12) using a corresponding volume of fluid.   2. Dishwasher according to claim 1, characterized in that the lining (12) is fixed to said surface (11) of the cabinet (4).   3. Dishwasher according to claim 1, characterized in that said bellows box (14) is arranged in correspondence with an interior surface rear (15) of the cabinet (4).   4. Dishwasher according to claim 1, characterized in that said lining (12) and said bellows box (14) are mutually connected by means of at least one conduit (13) with which they form a closed space.   5. Dishwasher according to claim 1, characterized in that the drawer (5) is capable of   deforming said bellows box (14) by expanding the lining (12), in the final part of its sliding stroke towards the closed position.
