Abstract

The hard top fitting for a motor vehicle has a seating (4) at the rear of the vehicle passenger space with a pair of welded cross shafts (6,7) which are parallel but in different horizontal planes. The hard top shell has a lug (8) on its rear edge to fit between the shafts. The lug can have a releasable catch to engage one of the cross pins.
