Abstract

The barrow assembly comprises of a body assembly (5) upon which is mounted two pairs of wheels (1) with protruding spikes (2). The barrow is pushed along an area of sodden ground such that the spikes penetrate the ground.

Description

- 1 - The present invention relates to a device for the ventilation of

  lawns and lawns, pleasure gardens and other green spaces. Indeed, the compaction of grassed soils due to the action of rain and watering, as well as the repeated passages of people and the garden roller to suffocate the roots of the lawn and degrade the aerial part. One way to limit this phenomenon is to make holes in the

treatment of a garden surface.

  The device according to the invention overcomes most of these drawbacks and therefore makes it easier to aerate the soil. It is based on the movement on the ground of a set of wheels fitted with spikes on the outside of the rim, the wheels are mounted free on either side of an axis of rotation itself secured to an arm maneuver. A removable load is hung on the axis in the middle of the device with its center of gravity located below the axis of the wheels and as close as possible

from the ground, like a pendulum.

  This device has the following characteristics - The wheels fitted with spikes distributed and fixed on the outside of the rim achieve

  driving the spikes into the ground without effort for the user.

  - The assembly / disassembly of the load on the axis of the device is carried out using a locking and handling handle, the disassembly of the load makes it easier to

  implementation and storage of the device.

receive water, and or sand.

  - The handle (6) when it is vertical allows the axis (3) of the device to pass, and

  it realizes the locking when it is rotated horizontally.

  - The shape of the container (5) is such that its center of gravity when filled is located below the axis of the wheels (3), and its size does not interfere with the

operation of the device.

  According to the particular embodiments, and by way of nonlimiting example, the number of wheels may be 4, 6 or 8. The diameter of the wheels between 400 and 600 mm, the load makes it possible to achieve a weight between 10 and 30 Kg. The construction material can be any as long as it has the necessary and sufficient characteristics

to the function of the device.

  The device according to the invention is particularly intended for aerating floors

  lawns and lawns in pleasure gardens and other green spaces.
