Abstract

  The invention relates to the technical sector of backpack carrying systems such as backpacks, backpacks and other similar articles allowing

The back has on its external visible face two hook-and-loop fastening strips. A connecting piece receiving the end of the carrying straps is arranged to slide and move along the branches of the frame while the visible face of the connecting piece facing the back part is itself arranged with complementary hook-and-loop means cooperating with the fastening strips. This implementation is commonly used by the Applicant, in a very satisfactory manner. The adjustment according to the morphology of the individual is carried out in this technical solution by modifying the height position of the

  suspenders support relative to the position of the belt.

  This device, although very reliable, requires several manipulations by

  the operator consisting in separating the parts of the hook-and-loop fastener,

  The device of the invention applies to backpack load carrying systems of the backpack, satchel and similar type. As previously stated

  the device is described in relation to its application to backpacks.

  The aforementioned thermoformed back (3) and of any suitable material is capable of receiving one or more support plates (6) arranged with means for receiving, guiding and retaining a profiled strip (7) attached and fixed to the means of carrying, type suspenders (4 - 5), or of belt type belts. These support plates (6) are fixed in any suitable manner by gluing, screwing, riveting or the like, to said back (3), and are positioned at the places generally used for fixing the ends of straps and of belting. Each support plate (6) is capable of receiving a profiled strip (7) associated with the carrying means of the shoulder strap type, in an adjustable manner, and ensuring locking in position of the strip in the rest position. More particularly, each support plate (6) is arranged in a one-piece rigid material, plastic or other material, the support plate is established to present characteristic arrangements in two median longitudinal (XX) and median transverse (YY) planes, allowing the receiving, guiding, holding and locking in position the free profiled strip (7) mounted at the end of the carrying means such as straps or the belt. More particularly, the support plate has, along its median longitudinal axis, a guide duct of rectangular section, this duct (6a) being

  disposed over all or part of the length of the plate, and on its median axis.

  In its central part and over part of its width, the support plate has a cutout (6b) crossing the aforementioned guide duct (6a). On either side of this cutout, are arranged in a pontelet or flange defining with the conduit, a tunnel for passage of the aforementioned strip. This

  strip (7) is therefore guided and cannot escape from the top, while being maintained

by said pontelets.

  According to another characteristic of the invention, the support plate (6) is arranged transversely in the plane of the abovementioned cutout to receive a flexible tongue (8) capable of constituting a locking means in position of the strip (7) and in providing a push function. This tongue (8) is advantageously secured to the profiled support plate with a protuberance (6c), this tongue is in one piece with the support plate due to its connection with the aforementioned protuberance zone. This tongue has a length giving it a certain flexibility and it has, at its free end, a form forming a pusher (8a) whose function will be explained later. This tongue crosses the entire support plate so as to be positioned above the aforementioned cutout (6b). This tongue advantageously has, in the plane of junction with the aforementioned conduit, a projecting shape (8b) advantageously notched. Furthermore, said strip (7) associated with the strap or part of the belt also has, along its length, a shape

notched (7a) rack.

  Therefore, the introduction of said strip (7) on the support plate (6) and through the aforementioned conduit (6a), leads to connecting and cooperation, by their notched zones (8b - 7a) respective and complementary , the flexible tongue (8) and the aforementioned profiled strip (7). In other words, the introduction of the notched strip requires beforehand the stress on the flexible tongue (8) to free the passage of the conduit (6a) and allow the said tongue to be positioned between the pontelet shapes by passing over the plane of the cut formed on the support plate.   The support plate can be arranged to receive a device of this kind for a strap (FIG. 7) or be shaped to receive two devices,

Claims (1)
