Description

The present invention relates to a bag of the type backpack and more particularly its carrying system consists of two straps.

Hikers and mountaineers or just walkers usually use backpacks to carry the material which is necessary for them. This type of bag, worn with two straps passing on the shoulders of the user, is very widespread because very practical especially because it allows the wearer to have hands free.

The builders have, of course, endeavored to design more and more comfortable, practical, light, aesthetic and functional. They have, especially in the backpacks that we find in the trade, improved the comfort of carrying by proposing adjustments of the length of the straps.

However, no known bag gives complete satisfaction, especially with regard to the comfort and effectiveness of braces support carrying on the shoulders of the user. To improve the portage, some current bags include an upper strap independent of the strap that pulls up the ramp to which it is connected. This type of device which is, for example, disclosed in the French patent 2 377 783, does not give satisfaction because it actually gives on the suspender an unpleasant pull for the wearer.

It is also known from patent application FR-A-2,660,173, US-A-5,890 640, backpacks whose carrying system is constituted by a wide strap intended to be supported on the shoulders of the user, extended by a strap lower bound. But according to this prior art, the length adjustment of the carrying system (shoulder strap plus lower link strap) is not done by adjusting the length of the shoulder strap (wide support strap), but is done in adjusting the length of the narrow lower link strap through the connection adjustable, which is provided.

The present invention proposes an improvement bringing to the bag carrying on back improved comfort thanks to the possibility offered by the device to be able to adjust the length of the straps.

According to a complementary feature, the strap or straps are consisting of an upper shoulder strap and a main element of independent strap of said upper shoulder strap member, while the length adjustment system is constituted by removable cooperation and adjustable between the upper shoulder strap and the main element of ramp.

In a preferred embodiment, the upper strap member is constituted by a portion of lower strap to which is attached a flap, while the upper end of the main element of strap is engaged between the lower strap portion and the flap for be retained by removable and adjustable fastening means.

According to additional features, the fastening means are constituted by gripping textile strips of the type marketed under the registered trademark "Velcro" constituting a quick coupler, formed by a first hook-and-loop tape of the velvet type attached to one of the parts and intended to cooperate with a second gripping band of the type hooks, while the shoulder straps include means of visualization of the length adjustment.

The item of luggage intended to be worn by the user is type backpack bearing the general reference (1) of vertical plane (P) of general symmetry. It is constituted in known manner by an envelope (2) forming an enclosure (3) for receiving the contents of the bag, said envelope comprising carrying means such as two shoulder straps of portage (4a, 4b) to be passed on the shoulders of the user.

The envelope (2) is, for example, constituted by a wall front peripheral (5) and a back wall (6), said bag comprising, elsewhere, a bottom and, for example, a movable upper flap allowing the user to open and close his bag.

According to the invention, the shoulder straps (4a, 4b) comprise a upper adjustment system in length (20) which is arranged at the of the support on the shoulders of the user, said setting being able to be made of continuous way.

One of the straps (4a) below the reference will be described below. overall (4) knowing that the other straps (4b) is identical.

Thus, the strap (4) is generally constituted by a strap wide comprising an upper portion or upper member of a strap (7), and a front portion (8) or main sling element.

According to a feature of the invention, the upper element of suspender (7) is an independent element of the main sling (8) which is attached to said upper shoulder strap member (7) by means removable and adjustable fasteners.

It is understood from the above with reference to the drawings that the upper element or shoulder strap (7) is a part of the shoulder strap (4) and is intended to be arranged during the portage directly in support at least on the shoulders of the wearer.

The main element of strap (8) is constituted by a strap or the upper end (9) comprises part of the means fixing said main element to the upper shoulder strap element.

The upper sling element (7) consists of a portion of lower strap (10) to which is attached a movable flap (11). So, the rear end (12) of the flap (11), which consists of a portion of strap is secured, for example, by stitching at the rear end (13) of the lower strap portion (10).

To removably and adjustably fix the upper end of the main element of the sling is provided, on the one hand, between this element and the flap, a first quick coupler (14) of the gripping type, and other between the same element and the lower strap portion, another second quick coupler (15) of the gripping type.

Thus, the upper end (9) of the main sling element (8) can be engaged between the lower strap portion (10) and the flap (11) to be retained by fixing means which are, depending on the mode preferred embodiment, consisting of textile strips gripping the type sold under the trademark "Velcro", constituting a quick coupler formed by a first gripping strip (14a, 15a), Velvet type, attached to one of the pieces and intended to cooperate with a second gripping strip (14b, 15b) of the hook type. It's obvious that any other means of attachment could be used as, for example, pressure type or other type systems, such as buttons or the like.

Grâce à la fixation amovible et réglable, il est possible d'ouvrir le rabat (11) par arrachement de la première attache rapide (14), de libérer l'extrémité supérieure (9) de l'élément principal de bretelle (8) par arrachement de la deuxième attache rapide (15), puis de replacer dans une autre position relative l'extrémité supérieure (9) de l'élément principal de bretelle (8) sur la portion de sangle inférieure (10) et de refermer le rabat (11).Thanks to the removable and adjustable fixing, it is possible to open the flap (11) by tearing of the first quick coupler (14), to release the upper end (9) of the main strap member (8) by tearing off the second quick coupler (15), and then other relative position the upper end (9) of the main element of strap (8) on the lower strap portion (10) and close the flap (11).

Advantageously, under the lower strap portion (10), it there is provided a comfort element (17) made, for example, by a layer of foam forming a support pad, arranged in the contact zone of the shoulder strap with the user's shoulders. This area of support and contact corresponds precisely to the comfort element (17) of the upper element straps (7) whose length is determined and independent of the setting position chosen by the user.

It will be noted that the upper shoulder strap element (7) is attached to the portion dorsal upper (18) of the bag itself, while the free end (19) of the main strap member (8) is connected directly or indirectly to the lower dorsal portion (200) of the bag.

Let's add that each of the suspenders includes means of viewing the settings constituted by a band (21) comprising markings (22) such as, for example, cipher marks or letters or colors or any other mark.

We understood that placing the upper shoulder strap element (7) in an area where traditionally the ramp is wide allows, a on the other hand, the use of a sufficiently wide comfort element (17) ensuring thus an optimal comfort and, on the other hand, to use fastening means of the two hook-and-loop strap elements which, as a result, can have a large gripping surface, thus ensuring retaining the lower shoulder strap element with maximum reliability and of security.

Note that the upper shoulder piece (7) is one of the technical elements of the bag, ensuring both the wearing comfort and the strapless adjustment.

Notons aussi que le dispositif de l'invention peut être utilisé sur tout type de bretelles comme, par exemple, les bretelles représentées sur les figures, ainsi que des bretelles du type harnais telles qu'illustrées schématiquement à la figure 5.Note also that the device of the invention can be used on any type of braces such as, for example, braces represented on the figures, as well as harness type shoulder straps as illustrated schematically in Figure 5.

Of course, the invention is not limited to the modes of described and illustrated as examples, but it includes also all technical equivalents as well as their combinations, the extent of the invention being defined by the following claims.
