Waterproof packaging for cosmetic products, in particular lipstick, mascara, consisting of a housing (1) capped with a removable cap (2) with sealing gasket (3) interposed, characterized in that the seal is a section flexible elastically deformable tube, force-fitted into a marginal part of the open end of the cap and O held against any axial displacement, by fitting into at least one groove (4) or internal protuberance (14) of the wall of the cap, the seal extending towards the open end of the cap by a relatively thin annular lip (5) free of limited radial displacement in an annular recess (6) of the cap, the fitting end (15) of the housing in the cap being cylindrical and smooth with an outer edge not sharp.   2. Packaging according to claim 1, characterized in that the seal has an external shape complementary to that of the internal wall adjoining the cap.   3. Packaging according to one of claims I and 2, characterized   in that the open end of the cap ends in a marginal cylindrical part (7) guiding the open end of the housing during   its fitting into the cap and protecting the lip of the seal.   4. Packaging according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized   in that the housing has at least one protuberance (8) forming a stop   to limit its sinking in the cap.   5. Packaging according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized   in that the seal is made of a molded plastic material of the polyolefin type.   6. Packaging according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized   in that the housing and the cap are made of thin corrugated metal.
