Description
COMPRISING SUCH A DEVICE
This invention makes it possible to significantly improve the handling of honey, in particular when consuming this product. It allows rapid dosing of this material while avoiding sagging and pioneering of the instruments that can be used. In addition, the transfer operations are eliminated by this process.
The current state of the art comes up against problems inherent in the viscosity of said products. In fact, it is relatively difficult to control the risks of sagging on the one hand, and on the other hand, to quickly obtain the quantity of honey desired. These difficulties appear regardless of the method of intake used, either by using any utensil or provided for this purpose, or by using a pouring container.
The object of the present invention is to avoid the drawbacks mentioned above. It is characterized by the realization of a floating disc or metering disc. This disc, which can also be a mass, the outline of which can adopt various shapes, is pierced in its center with a circular opening. A curved flare is made at mid-height on each side of this bore, more marked in its upper part, which results in a constriction and the formation of a bead or ring, or shoulder. This piece is placed permanently on the surface of the honey, itself left in its original pot. It should drown halfway up (throttling), taking into account the density of the product which is relatively constant from one variety to another.
The honey drawing operation then consists in introducing the end of a small spoon into the hole in the piece and raising it sharply by rubbing the hollow side of the spoon against the strangulation. In this way, the drips are minimal, even non-existent, but are eventually brought back into the orifice by the flaring. The strangulation (or ring) therefore has the role of "cutting" the contents of the spoon. This "cut" is one of the essential characteristics of the invention. We also have the leisure to make the content of the spoon yarier by pressing or not on the disc, with this instrument. The lower flaring of the disc allows the honey to "hunt" during the drawing operation. Apart from this function, the dosing disc prevents the spoon, which cannot pass through the constriction, from diving into the bottom of the container (something quite common and unpleasant) and having it always available and not clogged since replaced on the disc between each taken. If the practicality of this device seems obvious, it also affects the hygiene side due to the absence of drips, which eliminates any attack by insects or impurities transported by the ambient air.
The fact of including this honey jar set and its disc in a container (honey tub in this case) brings these hygiene rules to 100% and at the same time eliminates the risks of possible degradation caused by light. Seen in this form, the spoon remains in place, which makes the device completely autonomous while giving it a certain aesthetic. This honey tank, whose appearance is reminiscent of the old hive, is designed to receive the honey jar of classic conical shape whose dimensions are close from one container to another. In either version of the use of this apparatus, the always delicate operations of transfer do not exist.
The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention:
Figure 1 shows in vertical section the device of the invention.
Figure 2 shows the same device seen from above.
Figure 3 shows the same device set up for its use.
Referring to these drawings, Figure 1, the honey metering device has a mass, preferably circular for the practical side. This mass is pierced in its center, vertically (2). A curved flare is made halfway up this perforation in its upper part (3) and in its lower part (4). These flaring operations make it possible to obtain a constriction or ring or bead, or shoulder (1).
FIG. 2 shows in addition to these references, the flat remaining on the upper part of the metering disc (5).
Figure 3 shows the metering disc set up for its use. Its constriction (1) is at the same level as the surface of the honey (6), which is left in its original pot (5). This is housed in its receptacle (9) which is closed by the cover (10). These parts (9 and 10) arrive in hermetic junction (8). The spoon (7), blocked by the throttle (1) remains in position, both at the time of use, and outside of this moment. The dosing disc is made either of wood or of synthetic material meeting food safety standards. Its density must match that of honey. This is (Figure 3) the full-size device, completely autonomous, responding to the need to reserve honey packaging corresponding to its state of noble product. The cover (10), in the shape of a hive, has at its top a volume facilitating its gripping. This volume is hollowed out so that the handle of the spoon fits there when the honey level is high. This spoon is therefore blocked upright and until the honey is exhausted by this housing in its upper part then by the other interior parts of the lid, and by the metering disc in its lower part.
