Abstract

The racket handle is fitted with a cone of a supple material which slides along a pair of rods or tensioned cables between brackets and makes contact with the player's wrist when the racket is held upright, moving away when the racket head is held down or when the ball is struck. The cone is made from a flat piece of a supple material in the shape of a section of a circle rolled into a cone shape by joining its two free edges (39, 40) together. 4 - Device according to claim 3, characterized in that the guides are rigid rods (6; 29) mounted on a support fixed to the handle.

5 - Device according to claim 3, characterized in that the guides are cables stretched between a support fixed to the base of the screen and a support fixed to the handle.

6 - Device according to claim 4, suitable for snowshoes whose handle (3) consists of two divergent branches (4), characterized in that the cap (20) has an extension terminated by a slide (21) which comes housed between the two arms (4) of the handle, the slide (21) being slidably mounted around at least one rigid rod (29) extending in the axis of the racket between the two arms of the mold.

7 - Device according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the cap (33) comprises, at its upper end, a guide portion (34) on the handle of the racket.

8 - Device according to claim 7, characterized in that the guide part is a sleeve (34) of prismatic shape with rectangular base which comprises deformable flaps (37) at the top of its two small side faces, to adapt its geometry to that of a handle made up of two divergent branches.

9 - Device according to claim 7, characterized in that the guide part is constituted by a first sliding sleeve with tight play on a second sleeve engaged and immobilized on the handle of the racket.

10 - Racket, in particular tennis, characterized in that it comprises a device according to any one of claims 1 to 9.

11 - Device according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the cap (38) is made of a flexible material and is in the form of an annular strip shaped substantially in a truncated cone, so that its two end edges (39.40) are close to each other.

12 - Device according to claim 11, characterized in that the strip maintains its two end edges close to one another by elasticity.

13 - Device according to claim 11, characterized in that the end edges (39.40) of the strip comprise removable fixing means (42,43,44), preferably adjustable, allowing the diameter to be varied of the cap.

14 - Device according to claim 13, characterized in that the fixing means are constituted by studs (43) on one of the end edges of the strip and by perforations (44) capable of receiving the studs on the other edge.
