Abstract

The garment, designed e.g. for open air excursions in the mountains or forests by members of school parties or sporting associations, carries personal identification (4, 6) on its outer surface. On the inside it carries medical information (8, 10) to assist first aid workers in the event of injury or illness, such as blood group or allergies to specific medication. The medical information is carried in an indelible form, e.g. inside an inner pocket, and includes identification for the person wearing the garment.
