Abstract

The invention concerns a pyrotechnic projectile comprising a body (1) containing a bursting charge (4) and a combustible charge (5) designed to generate a flare effect, characterised in that the projectile body nozzle (2) contains a mass (8) of powder substance with high density to move the projectile centre of gravity towards the front thereof, the bursting of the body (1) and of the nozzle caused by the bursting charge explosion dispersing the high density powder in the atmosphere.
