Abstract

The window frame comprises a fixed frame (2) in which is mounted a handle for opening or closing the window. A double glazing frame (6) surrounds the central glazing (7). This frame is hinged by split hinges (8) on the window frame. Each split hinge has two cylindrical parts (9,10) connected by a spindle (12). Its first part (9) is connected to the window frame by a leg (9b) which has an external concave shape (19). The second part of the split hinge is carried and surrounded by the external edge (18) of the double glazing frame. This frame has a groove (20) of the same height as the first part of the hinge and an external concave shape similar to that of the leg of the first part.
