Abstract

Fabrication procedure for a decorative object involves utilisation of a laser-photocopied image, which has been made on a transparent medium, as a background and application of a transparent resin on top of the photocopied image. The resin hardening occurs at room temperature. A protective film can be applied to the image on the transparent medium using an impact adhesive prior to application of the resin. A master copy of the image used for photocopying is kept and from this a reproduction of all or part of the image is used in the process.
