Abstract

Cap intended to be rigidly associated with the neck (2) of a bottle (3), said cap (1) comprising a fastening belt (5) provided with first fastening means (23) cooperating with fastening means complementary (6) arranged on the neck (2) of said bottle (3), said stopper (1) further comprising a movable cap (4) between a closed position of the stopper (1) and an open position in which at least part of the neck (2) of the bottle (3) protrudes outwards, at least part of the stopper (1) forming a hinge (29) between the fastening belt (5) and the movable cap (4 ), this plug (1) being characterized in that the plug parts forming a hinge (29) are provided with second attachment means (30) cooperating with said complementary attachment means (6) arranged on the neck (2) of the bottle (3), so that when the cap (4) is closed, the fastening belt (5) remains in the predefined position finished and substantially fixed and this in particular in the vicinity of the parts of the plug forming a hinge (29).

Description

The invention relates, according to a first aspect, to a hinged plug,

one piece, for ring bottle

acting as a tipper.

  The invention relates, according to a second aspect, to a

bottle provided with such a stopper.

  Corks or caps are already known having a cover or a cap which can pivot between an open position for which at least one opening of the cap is uncovered and a position of

  closure for which the openings are covered.

  This pivoting takes place around one or more

  parts of the plug forming a hinge.

  In certain embodiments, the stoppers or caps with a cover or cap that can pivot around a hinge are designed in such a way that when the cover, the cap is in the open position of the stopper, the end of the neck of the bottle on which the cap protrudes outwards. Because of this, at least part of this cervix

  The invention relates to this type of stopper, as well as to a bottle provided with this particular type of stopper. An example of this type of cap can be found

  Such caps are conventionally fixed to the bottles by clipping onto an external annular projection from the neck of the bottles by means of a projecting rod

  annular internal to a belt for hanging the plug.

  This ring is interrupted at the hinge part for the cap of the plug. When the hinge pin must be placed under the bottle neck snap ring, this ring is interrupted

  at the hinge part.

  Such a closure system has certain drawbacks. In particular, when filling the cap capsule, the force exerted opposite the hinge part on the cap to close and seal the cap / bottle assembly, tends to raise the cap fastening belt. at the place of

  the interruption of the snap ring.

  The invention relates to a hinged stopper for a ring bottle serving as a pourer, said stopper not having the drawbacks of

  this type known in the prior art.

  To this end, the invention relates, according to a first aspect, to a stopper intended to be rigidly associated with the neck of a bottle, said stopper comprising a fastening belt provided with first fastening means cooperating with fastening means. 'additional attachment arranged on the neck of said bottle, said stopper further comprising a movable cap between a closed position of the stopper and an open position in which at least part of the neck of the bottle protrudes outwards, at least part of the plug forming a hinge between the fastening belt and the movable cap; the cap portions forming a hinge are provided with second hooking means cooperating with said complementary hooking means arranged on the neck of the bottle, so that when the cap is closed, the hooking belt remains in predetermined position and substantially fixed and this especially in the vicinity of the parts of the plug forming a hinge. According to one embodiment, the first attachment means are formed by a ring projecting internally into the annular belt for hooking the cap, this rod cooperating by clipping with a first annular projecting external from the neck of the bottle forming the means

  The plug can thus be produced from a single piece of material chosen from the group comprising: polypropylene, polyethylene, polyterephthalate

  ethylene, polybutylene terephthalate.

  The invention relates, according to a second aspect, to a bottle intended to be provided with a stopper as defined above, this bottle comprising a second external annular projection on its neck, this second projection comprising an annular upper face forming bearing face for the hanging belt of the

plug.

  polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate.

  The invention relates, according to a third aspect, to a packaging formed by a stopper as defined above rigidly fixed to a bottle as defined above, the stopper being one piece and made of low density polyethylene, the bottle being made in

polyethylene terephthalate.

  The neck 2 of the bottle 3 has a first external annular projection 6, arranged along a plane P2

  substantially transverse to the axis D '.

  This first projection 6 forms a snap ring

  for the fastening belt 5 of the plug 1.

  This first projection 6 has a lower annular face 7 formed, when moving away from the axis D ', of a first substantially frustoconical part 8 and

  of a second substantially cylindrical part 9 with axis D '.

  The neck 2 of the bottle 3 has a second external annular projection 10 arranged in a plane P3 substantially transverse relative to the axis D 'and

parallel to P2.

  This second annular projection 10 is arranged

  below the first projection 6.

  This second annular projection 10 comprises an upper face 11 formed, when one moves away from the axis D ', of a first annular part 12 substantially

  The second annular projection 10 has an external lateral face 17, substantially cylindrical with axis D ', this lateral face 17 being in continuity with the external lateral face 18 of the fastening belt 5 when

  the cap 1 is in place on the neck 2 of the bottle 3.

  The radial dimension r1 of the third part 14 of the upper face 11 of the projection 10 is substantially equal to the radial thickness e1 of the fastening belt 5. When the cap 1 is in place on the neck 2 of the bottle 3 , the internal lateral face 19 of the fastening belt 5 is in support, in its lower part 20 with the second part 13 of the upper face 11 of the

projection 10.

  At the same time, the underside 21 of the fastening belt 5 is supported on the third

  part 14 of the upper face 11 of the projection 10.

  It is understood that the step 15 is of shape complementary to the shape of the lower part 16 of the

hanging belt 5.

  The fastening belt 5 has on its internal lateral face 19 and in the upper part 22 a projection

ring finger 23.

  This annular projection 23 has an upper face 24, substantially frustoconical, bearing against the lower face 7 of the first projection 6, when the plug 1 is in position on the neck 2 of the

bottle 3.

  This annular projection 23 has a substantially frustoconical lower face 24 ', this face 24' facilitating the passage of the first projection 6 from the neck 2 of

  the bottle 3, when the cap 1 is put in place.

  The external lateral face 25 of the neck 2 of the bottle 3 is distant, in its part 26 located between the first projection 6 and the second projection 10, from the face

  internal lateral 19 of the fastening belt 5.

  An annular space E exists between this face 25 and

this face 29.

  This space E is delimited by: the substantially cylindrical part 26 of axis D ′ of the external lateral face 25 of the neck 2; the first part 12 of the upper face 11 of the second annular projection 10; the part 27 of the internal lateral face 19 of the fastening belt 5 which is not in contact with the

  first projection 6 or second projection 10.

  In the embodiment shown, the radial dimension r2 of this space E depends on the radial dimensions r3 of the part 12 of the face 11 as well as the

  radial dimension r4 of the face 7 of the first projection 6.

  In the embodiment shown, the radial dimensions r3 and r4 are substantially identical. So that the second part 9 of the face 7 of the first projection 6 is located in line with the second part 13 of the face 11 of the second projection 10. This part 9 of the face 7 of the first projection 6 is in abutment against the internal lateral surface 19 of the belt

  attachment 5, above the annular projection 23.

  We now refer to Figure 3 and the

figure 5.

  The fastening belt 5 has a thinning 28 forming a preferential folding site

  for a part 29 of the plug 1 forming a hinge.

  In this thinning 28, the thickness e2 of the fastening belt 5 is locally less than the thickness el of this belt, constant outside

this thinning 28.

  The hinge 29 of the plug 1 allows the pivoting

  of the cap 4 relative to the fastening belt 5.

  This hinge 29 has an internal projection 30

  which will be described more fully later in the text.

  The cap 4 comprises a bottom wall 31 substantially transverse with respect to the axis D. The cap 4 also comprises a cylindrical wall 32 of axis D projecting from the internal face 33 of the

bottom wall 31.

  This annular wall 32 comprises an external lateral face 34 intended to be in contact with a part 35 of the internal face 36 of the neck 2 of the bottle 3, when the

  cap 4 is in the closed position.

  In the embodiment shown, this wall 32 is of height, measured with respect to the axis D, different near the hinge 29 than on the opposite of this

hinge 29.

  The cap 4 has, opposite the hinge

  29, a recess 37 on its side skirt 38.

  This recess 37 facilitates the manual opening of the

cap 4.

  When the cap 4 is in the closed position, as shown in FIG. 4, the lower face 39 of the skirt 38 of the cap 4 is not in abutment against the upper face 42 of the belt

hanging 5.

  Similarly, the internal face 33 of the bottom wall 31 of the cap 4 is not in abutment against the end

  upper 40 of the neck 2 of the bottle 3.

  The projection 30 of the hinge 29 then comes to bear against the underside 7 of the first projection 6 of the neck 2, thus preventing movement of the fastening belt 5 when a force F is exerted on

  the end 41 of the cap 4, opposite the hinge 29.

  The particular position of the cap 4 relative to the neck 2 or to the fastening belt 5 has

many advantages.

  -First, the upper end 40 of the neck 2

  of the bottle serves directly as a pourer.

  This allows a saving of material comprising by

  compared to the caps covering the opening 43 of the neck 2.

  In the embodiment shown, the upper end 40 of the neck 2 has a projection

  annular 44 forming an anti-drip edge.

  -The distance between the underside 39 of the skirt 38 of the cap 4 and the upper face 42 of the fastening belt allows the provision of an annular band 45

  called inviolability, forming witness of first opening.

  In the embodiment shown, this tamper-evident band 45 has at one end a tongue

  46 gripping for its tearing.

  This tongue 46 partially covers the hinge

  Frangible points, thin walls or any other equivalent arrangement are provided between the strip

  and the cap 4 and / or the fastening belt 5.

  The cap assembly 4, attachment strap 5 and

  tamper-evident tape 45 may be one-piece.

  This set can be made of a plastic material such as polyethylene, polypropylene,

polyethylene terephthalate.

  The cap 4, fastening belt 5 and tamper-evident band 45 assembly can be multi-room, for example in two pieces, one corresponding to the hinged cap, the other comprising a pourer intended to be fitted on a

standard container neck.

  The fixing by clipping of this assembly on the neck 2 of a bottle 3 can be carried out easily, in one

single step.

Claims (18)

  1. Stopper intended to be rigidly associated with the neck (2) of a bottle (3), said stopper (1) comprising a fastening belt (5) provided with first fastening means (23) cooperating with fastening means '' additional attachment (6) arranged on the neck (2) of said bottle (3), said stopper (1) further comprising a movable cap (4) between a closed position of the stopper (1) and an open position in which at least part of the neck (2) of the bottle (3) projects outwards, at least part of the stopper (1) forming a hinge (29) between the fastening belt (5) and the movable cap (4), this plug (1) being characterized in that the plug parts forming a hinge (29) are provided with second attachment means (30) cooperating with said complementary attachment means (6) arranged on the neck ( 2) of the bottle (3), so that when the cap (4) is closed, the fastening belt (5) remains in the pre position determined and substantially fixed, particularly in the vicinity of the parts of the plug forming hinge (29).   2. Plug according to claim 1, characterized in that the first attachment means (23) are formed by a ring projecting internally annularly to the attachment belt (5) of the plug (1), this joint cooperating by clipping with a first external annular projection (6) of the neck (2) of the bottle (3) forming the complementary attachment means. 3. Plug according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the second attachment means (30) are formed by an internal projection at the parts of the plug forming a hinge (29), this internal projection at the hinges (29) cooperating by clipping. with a projection   outer (6) of the neck (2) of the bottle (3).   4. Plug according to claim 3, characterized in that the internal projection (30) at the hinges is substantially arranged in the same plane as the annular ring projecting internally (23) to the fastening belt (5) of the plug (1 ), the external projection of the neck (2) of the bottle (3) which cooperates with the internal projection (30) of the hinges (29) being a part of the first external annular projection (6) of the neck (2) of the bottle   (3) forming the additional attachment means.   5. Stopper according to any one of   claims 2 to 4, characterized in that the part of the   plug (1) forming a hinge (29) comprises an articulation zone for pivoting the cap (4), this articulation zone (28) being arranged substantially in a plane lower than the plane of the annular projecting rod   internal (23) to the fastening belt (5).   6. Cap according to claim 5, characterized in that the articulation zone (28) is formed by a   thinning of the wall of the fastening belt (5).   7. Cap according to any one of   Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the cap (4)   comprises: a bottom wall (31); -a side skirt (38) rigidly associated with a first end of the hinge (29) of the plug (1), this first end being arranged in a plane situated above the plane of the first projection   external annular (6) of the neck (2) of the bottle (3).   8. Stopper according to any one of   Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the cap (4)   comprises an internal annular projecting wall (32) cooperating with the internal lateral surface (35) of the neck (2) of the bottle (3) when the cap (4) is in position for closing the plug (1).   9. Cap according to claim 8, characterized in that the cap (4) has a recess (37) on its side skirt (38), opposite the hinge (29) of the cap (1), this recess ( 37) facilitating opening manual cap (4).   10. Cap according to any one of   claims 1 to 9, characterized in that it comprises a   annular tamper-evident band (45) disposed between the fastening belt (5) and the cap (4) of the plug (1). 11. Cap according to claim 10, characterized in that the annular tamper-evident band (45) has one end forming a tear-off tab (46), this end (46) at least partially covering the area of the   plug (1) forming hinge (29).   12. Bottle according to claim 15, characterized in that it comprises a third external annular projection (44) on its neck (2), this third projection (44) being disposed at the free end of the neck (2)   of the bottle (3) and forming an anti-drip rim.   17. Bottle according to claim 16, characterized in that it is produced from a material chosen from the group comprising: glass, plastics such as polypropylene, polyethylene,   polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate.   18.
