Abstract

A filter assembly with a cartridge, especially for the filtration of swimming pool water, has a positioned base inserted into a collar or welded base (2), with the edges turned upwards to give a concentric support surface to take the cartridge (3). The walls are parallel to the cartridge, to give a sealed fit, reinforced by a centre post (4) welded to the positioned base. The carrier is milled, ground or stamped to give a total sealing with the cartridge.

Description

 The present invention relates to the design of a metal floor intended to position and use a pleated double surface cartridge, for the filtration of all water, in bodies of filters under pressure which can go up to 10 bar.

 This cartridge, usually used in the filtration of swimming pool water, is traditionally supported by a molded plastic part for pressures n T not exceeding 3bar.

 The idea of extending the use of this cartridge to filters working under pressures higher than 3bar, rests on the realization of a metal floor, integrated into the body of the filter receiving the cartridge, and produced with commercial parts, worked.

This floor, welded in the bottom and in the axis of a cylindrical filter body, is composed
- A superimposed bottom, inserted in a welding collar, and whose edges folded upwards, provide a range and have their edges assembled rigorously concentric and parallel, to receive the cartridge and perfect T sealing.

The positioning and immobilization of the cartridge on the floor are ensured by a welded bracket on the superimposed bottom
The water to be filtered, penetrates through the bottom, in the axis of the filter, crosses the cartridge through its inner and outer walls, and comes out filtered in the space created by the superimposed bottom inserted in the collar.

 With reference to these drawings, the device comprises an inverted bottom (1), inserted in a collar (2), the edges of which provide a span, are assembled concentric and parallel for a tight positioning of the cartridge (3) on the floor.

 The cartridge is centered and immobilized by a stirrup (4) welded in the inverted bottom.

 The device according to this invention allows the use of these cartridges, for the filtration of all the water intended for drinking water, and of all the water whose filtration requires operating pressures up to 10 bar.

The patent relates to the design of the support floor system and the positioning of a pleated double surface cartridge on this floor, for the recovery of filtered water in filter bodies under pressure up to lObar.

 The scope can be achieved by molding, machining or stamping, to ensure perfect sealing with the cartridge.
