Abstract

The incandescent lamp bulb is fitted with two filaments which operate one at a time. The filaments may be geometrically in parallel or perpendicular. The lamp bulb (1) has the two filaments (2, 3) connected at one end to a common current connector (4) but has the other end (5, 6) of each of the filaments going to separate current connections.
