Abstract

The alarm system has a sensor (1) which detects a pre-determined abnormal state, an alarm control an electrical supply source (2) and an alarm (3 and/or 4). The alarm indicators consists of a winking indicator (3) and an electro- luminescent diode strip (5). The sound alarm (4) is fitted with a siren or similar. The sensor (1) is formed from an shock detection electronic circuit having a contact/sensor (7) in series with a potentiometer (8) which actuates a relay (9) which supplies power to the alarms (3,4). The supply source (2) is a miniature battery with a connector which allows periodic recharging. The alarm system has a manual/remote control key (11) which when operated energises the alarm circuit and sensor. The alarm system (12) is fitted into the tubular frame of the two wheeled vehicle which has openings for the key (11) and connector (10).
