Abstract

The clock case (1) has two feet (2,2') which rotate about the axes (3,3'). The feet and their axes are placed symmetrically on either side of the lower part of the case. In the closed position they are flush with the case. When the feet are pulled sideways for operation they are locked into their operating position by a locking plate (4). The plate is propelled by springs and it's motion is controlled by lugs which slide in mortices within the clock case. The locking plate when extended is flush with the clock face in order to maintain it's appearance.
