Abstract

A well (1) is bored, producing at least 51 water per sq.m. floor area. This provides house and garden raw water and hot water requirements, and supplies working fluid for a reversible heat-pump (2) delivering hot water at 45-50 degrees C and chilled water at 3-6 degrees C. The latter is applied to air conditioning, cold storage (9) and wine cellar (8) purposes; the former to domestic space and water heating, and to swimming pool heating (3). The space heating system includes room heater/air conditioners (6), with circulating fans, and/or floor and wall heating coils (7). The various applications rely extensively on automatic controls to maintain set conditions with optimum energy conservation. Optionally, these systems include remote operation and alarms.
