Abstract

The device has a sliding structure which can be regulated and adjusted to a required height using two horizontal arms (6), with a rod structure (8). When the rod is lowered by the user, a contact is moved which actuates an electric circuit containing a transformer. An audio signal is generated. Horizontally adjustable rails (17) with an end strap which has a foot rest (18) and which can be inclined at an angle by a screw thread mechanism (19) are also used.

Description

 The present invention relates to the world of bodybuilding and rehabilitation.

 To date, the weight training rooms work the back with vertical loads, often very heavy, which have the effect of packing the intervertebral discs and strengthening the curvatures. There is no system in this area that allows to tone the spine in self-enlargement, without weight or with minimal weight (from 500 gr to 3 Kg is enough).

 In addition, athletes have strong tone of the triceps suraux and hamstrings (harmful influence on the back, risk of breakdown). This device also makes it possible to stretch these muscles, and at the same time offers the possibility of working the erection of the spine.

 On the other hand, the physiotherapists who make people work in self-enlargement for posture disorder, have no means of control on the vertical oscillations that produce the succession of effort and relaxation of the spine muscles which decreases the efficiency of their exercise, and which requires from the practitioners a total availability which often do not have it (telephone, weariness etc ...).

The device according to the invention allows the self-enlargement work to be carried out in a precise, sustained and efficient manner in the following positions:
* standing.

 * standing with dorsal flexion of the ankles.

* sitting on a stool,
* seated legs stretched out and stretched (the stretching of the posterior muscles of the lower limbs can reach 250 kg).

According to particular embodiments:
For the first part (self-enlargement):
- a horizontal cross member slides on two parallel and vertical bars.

 On this crosspiece is fixed a rod articulated on one end.

 The other end is free, cut at a bevel, having the function of opening or closing an electrical circuit which triggers a ringing when the rod is in the low position, which corresponds to the relaxation of the user's effort. This electrical circuit can be connected to a vibrator for the hearing impaired or connected to a game console or a PC to block the game which will start again when the rod is in the high position.

 The user being instructed to exert a push from the bottom up so as to push the rod back into the high position with the top of the skull.

 The second part (stretching of the muscles of the lower limbs).

 Alabase of these two vertical bars, a file is fixed, and, in its extension are two other parallel, horizontal and adjustable bars that can be adjusted to the length of the subject's lower limbs.

At the end of these two bars, a tilting board is fixed, which serves as a footrest; and depending on its angle, will vary the stretch of the posterior muscles.

With reference to these drawings:
The first part of this device has two vertical bars (1) connected at the top by a horizontal bar (2) placed on a base (3).

On these two vertical bars (1) slides a horizontal structure (4) that can be blocked at the desired level thanks to a brake (5).

This sliding structure (4) is composed of two horizontal arms (6) perpendicular to the latter. On one of these arms (6) an anteroposterior axis (7) fixes a rod (8) or is located in its middle part, a pallet (9).

The other end of the rod (8) is cut in a bevel. Opposite this bevel, on the other horizontal arm (6) is fixed a contactor (10) connected to a transformer (11) which opens or closes an electrical circuit. This contactor (10) triggers a buzzer (12) when the rod is lowered and presents the short part of the bevel. A switch (13) is provided for the end of the exercise.

On the pallet (9) is fixed a vertical cylinder (14) on which one can adjust cast iron discs.

The second part includes:
On the bottom of the two vertical bars (1) a backrest (15) is fixed.

On the base (3) a first tilting board (16) (used to work 1 standing self-enlargement with bending of the ankles) is fixed.

In the extension of this file (15) leave two horizontal parallel bars (17) meeting at their end to form a support for a second board (18) adjustable in the anteo-posterior direction by means of an adjustment screw (19).

This device is made for horizontal and vertical parallel bars in stainless steel Z2CM 18-10 stainless steel.

the sliding part opposite these two vertical bars is in bronze VA 10.N.

These two parallel bars are bent by a tube bending machine.

The safety of the device is ensured by a transformer which delivers 12 volts DC.

This device according to the invention is particularly intended for working the erector muscles of the spine in a sustained manner, without weight or almost and this in all positions of everyday life and more with the possibility of working the self-enlargement with a maximum stretching of the posterior muscles of the lower limbs which is very beneficial for standing posture, since the user is struggling against his own tensions.

Claims (3)

Device for correcting disorders of the posture of the back, and stretching the muscles of the lower limbs, characterized in that it comprises, on the one hand, a structure  sliding (4) which is adjusted and locked at the desired height thanks to a brake (5), said sliding structure (4) being equipped with a contactor (10) emitting an audible signal when the patient releases his self-enlargement effort , and, on the other hand, a device of adjustable horizontal bars (17) bent at their ends to receive a tilting and adjustable pedestal board (18) thanks to  a screw (19). 2. Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the sliding structure (4) consists of two horizontal arms (6), one of which comprises  the axis (7) of the rod (8) supporting the pallet (9) and the other horizontal arm (6)  supports the contactor (10). 3. Device according to claim 2 characterized in that the rod (8) is cut  at a bevel on the side of the contactor (10), making it possible to open, when the rod is lowered by the patient, the electrical circuit closed by the contactor (10) connected to a transformer (11), thus triggering an audible signal.
