REMOVABLE HANDLE FOR STOVES AND THE LIKE

  The present invention relates to the sector of containers for household use such as frying pans, pots and the like, and more particularly a

handle for these containers.

  We already know different ways of removably fixing a handle to a fixing section

  secured to the body of a kitchen container.

  The object of the present invention is to provide a removable handle, original by its configuration and association of parts, easily applicable in the implementation and easily separable from the container if necessary and when it is necessary to put the latter in the oven or

dishwasher, for example.

  Said objective is achieved using a handle

  removable according to at least claim 1.

  Further details on the invention will be set out

  evidence in the description made with reference to

  annexed diagrams in which: FIG. 1 shows an exploded view of the elements which contribute to forming a handle; Figure 2 shows the handle in the coupling position with the complementary fastening to the container body; and Figure 3 shows a partial sectional view of the

handle blocked on the container.

  In said diagram, the number 10 indicates the body of a container, such as a pan, saucepan or the like, having laterally an integral securing section 11

for a removable handle 12.

  The fixing section 11 has a location 13 in the shape of an inverted U, open at the bottom and having at its free end a shoulder or step of

narrowing 14.

  The removable handle 12 comprises a handle 15, made of insulating material, wood, plastic or the like, in which a stud 16 is provided, a part of which is threaded on the side facing the container. The stud which may extend over a part or over the entire length of the handle, carries applied to the latter by screwing, a sleeve 17 for connection to the fixing section 11 of the container. This sleeve 17 is dimensioned to be inserted from the bottom up into the location 13 defined by the securing section of the container and present a neck 17 'intended to be coupled in a complementary manner with

  the shoulder or step 14 in said location.

  The sleeve 17 has a rod 17 "guided in a seat concentric with the stud with the interposition of a spring 18. The handle can rotate at the same time as the stud; with the exception of the sleeve. In correspondence, the sleeve can move by translation, following the

stud rotation.

  Therefore, to hang the handle on the container, simply insert and embed the sleeve in the location of the fixing section and turn the handle so as to pull the sleeve until tightly lock the handle on the container through the step-neck coupling 14, 17 'To unhook or disengage the handle of the container, simply turn the handle in the opposite direction so as to loosen the grip on the sleeve, and be able to decouple the latter from the section fixing by a downward movement of the handle relative to said container. Of course, the invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments described above and shown from which other modes and other embodiments can be provided, without however going beyond

of the scope of the invention.

Claims (3)

  1. Removable handle for kitchen containers such as pots, pans and the like, comprising a handle made of insulating material carrying a sleeve, and the container has an attachment section intended to receive said sleeve for assembling the handle to the container, characterized in that said handle carries, on its end contiguous to the container, a stud (16) rotating with the handle without moving in translation, in that said sleeve (17) is applied by screwing on said stud (16) and guided longitudinally in said end of the handle with the possibility of moving by translation, without turning, following the rotation of the stud with the handle, and in that said sleeve (17) when it is inserted into the location defined by said container securing section is blocked or released by rotation in one direction or the other of said handle.   2. Handle according to claim 1, characterized in that a spring (18), placed concentrically at the   stud, is provided between the sleeve and the handle.   3. Handle according to claims 1 and 2, o   the location (13) defined by the securing section (11) of the container has a U-shaped section open downwards and has an internal shoulder or step (14), and o said sleeve (17) has a neck (17 ' ) which mates with said shoulder or step when the sleeve is inserted into said location, said shoulder or step interacting with said neck in blocking the handle on the container.
