Abstract

The connector connects several cables to a support (1A) fixed in a casing (4) by a set of female pins (2A) and protected by a sleeve (3). Several other cables are similarly connected to a support (1B) which turns freely in a casing (5) by a set of male pins (2B) and protected by a sleeve (3). The two casings are screwed together and are sealed by an O-ring (6). The stuff box at each end comprises a special conical joint (7) which allows the passage of one or more cables and a packing seal (8). The insulation is pierced by a screw (9) or point on the pin to connect with the cable perpendicularly and ensure electrical continuity.
