Abstract

The balanced vehicle wheel (1) comprises a wheel (2) mounted on a vehicle hub (4) by fixing bolts against an assembly disc (8) carrying the hub. The wheel has an additional balancing weight (6). The connection between hub and wheel is obtained directly by the balancing weight whose central part comprises a ring (10) drilled with holes (12) for fixing the bolts to the hub. In its upper part the balancing weight is supported against an internal peripheral ring (15) located inside the wheel rim and laterally displaced from the rim's plane of symmetry (XX). The weight upper part is fixed against the internal ring by bolts. The mass of the balancing weight is determined by its thickness A and the gap between the plane of symmetry and the internal fixing ring.
