Abstract

The ring has a cage which is a perforated plate (1), in the form of a circle, that holds a stone (4a). The body (2) of the ring has two forked ends (2a',2b') that are elastic and deform to allow the stone to be put through the back of them. The forked ends are bent to hold the stone between them and the cage. When the stones are not worked they are joined to a removable bezel whose shape is adapted to that of the cage.

Description

The present invention relates to a jewel such as a ring, with interchangeable stone.

Traditionally, stone rings have a claw device between which a stone is fixed permanently by crimping.

According to the invention, the device on the contrary allows the stone to be changed at will without special tools and without damaging the pierrelbague fixing system.

The device in question is a clipping system which firstly comprises: - a series of interchangeable spherical stones of the same diameter but with aspects
different colors, - a clip cage made up of:
of a hollowed-out plate linked to the body of the ring.

The recess in the plate follows the circular outline of the stone. Its diameter
is lower than that of stone and allows the stone to be seen on the outer face
of the plate when it is presented there by the internal face, without being able to cross.

With reference to the drawings of Figures 1-2-34-5 + 74, which represent an embodiment
possible of the invention, the device comprises a perforated plate (1) in the form of
washer and a ring-shaped ring body (2), the ends of which form
two curved forks (2a-2a'-2b-2b ') connected by welding to the plate in two
points (3a-3b).

In this embodiment, it is the curved parts which constitute the
elastic elements of the body.

During the placement of the stone these elements flex to allow a
stones from the series (4a4b4c4d - - 4n).

After installation, they return to their initial position appreciably while
exerting a holding force on the stone. These are thus plated in
permanently against the circular perforation of the plate.

The stone is disengaged by pushing it from the face
outside of the ring. The elastic elements bend again leaving

The shapes and dimensions of the surfaces of the elastic elements (2a-2a'-2b-2b ')
are designed to safely perform the repetitive functions of bending and
maintenance which are devolved to them.

With reference to the drawing in FIG. 9, models of rings can be designed
to receive any kind of stone profile (cylindrical, ovoid, prismatic,
pyramid ...) by adapting the shapes of the bending elements and
maintenance belonging to the cage.

Referring to the drawing in Figure 10, irregular or varied stones
can be fixed - by gluing for example -, or coated, in a kitten
removable whose external shapes are adapted to those of the model's cage
of ring.

With reference to the diagrams of FIGS. 11 and 12, the device of the invention and its
variants can be adapted to any kind of jewelry, such as brooch, pendant,
earring.

The device according to the invention and its variants is particularly intended for articles
