Abstract

The seat is mountable via pins 30 to a stationary frame or car seat base and includes a one-piece seat-armrest part 1,2,3, an adjustable backrest with integral headrest 8 and earflaps 6,7, an adjustable legrest 26, a front rail 11 and a carry handle 17 which is pivoted to the armrest portions. The backrest and legrest are adjusted by toothed sector mechanisms (Figs 2,3). The handle can be lowered to stabilise the seat when placed on the floor on curved sections 15 which act as cradle rockers. An optional one-piece front portion 24 provides conversion into a carry-cot.
