Abstract

The straight line potentiometer includes several resilient grips which are situated at opposite ends of a line of a carrier. The line is perpendicular to a transverse axis formed by toes on the ends of resilient lugs. The grips engage lateral sectors of a slider in a riding arrangement. The slider has a central offset portion which is inserted between the lugs of the carrier. The offset portion is recessed. The resilient grips are in two pairs facing each other. The grips are in the same plane as the toes.
