Abstract

Furniture or storage device outwardly defined by a plurality of planar surfaces (3, 5), wherein pairs of surfaces form dihedrons and each face of a dihedron forms the outer face of a wall (37, 55). Element according to claim 1, characterized in that each flat face (3, 5, 7) is carried by a wall (37, 55) delimited by fields (13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25 , 27) and equipped on its face opposite the aforesaid flat face with assembly fins (45, 51, 61, 69) extending perpendicular to this wall in the vicinity and at a distance from the aforementioned fields, each assembly fin (45, 51, 61, 69) comprising means for fixing it to the corresponding assembly fin of an adjacent wall (37, 55).

Element according to claim 2, characterized in that each wall (3, 5, 7) is produced from a blank precut so as to define, beyond each of the fields of the wall (37, 55) mentioned above, a strip (39, 41, 57, 65) comprising a first flap (43, 49, 59, 67) folded at 1800 along a first fold line coinciding with the corresponding field of the wall (37, 55) and a second flap (45, 51, 61, 69) forming the aforementioned assembly fin, folded at about 900 along a second fold line (47, 53, 63, 71) parallel to and distinct from the first fold line ( 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27).

Element according to claim 3, characterized in that the mutual coupling means of two assembly fins (45, 51, 61, 69) comprise at least one tab (73) projecting from the free edge of one of these two assembly fins and a corresponding notch (75) formed in the other assembly fin, to accommodate the tab (73) and allow it to be folded down behind this other fin (75).

Assembly of at least two elements according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the two elements are juxtaposed so as to place the above-mentioned panel field of one of the elements along the homologous field of the other element and in that it comprises connecting stirrups (77) having branches (79, 81) which clamp against one another the free ends of the panels whose fields are superimposed.

6. An assembly according to claim 5 taken in combination with claim 3, characterized in that the blank has on its second fold line openings (83) for passage of the branches (79, 81) of the connecting bracket (77 ).
