Abstract

An internal combustion engine lubricant contains a vegetable oil with an oleic acid content of more than 77 %, at least one first alkylselenium antioxidant, a first dispersant, a pour point depressant and a detergent, wherein said lubricant may advantageously contain polybutene, which allows the used lubricant to be burned in the combustion chamber(s) of the engine.

Description

Huile pour moteurs à base d'huile de tournesol. (Huile végétale) 1) L'huile de base pour cette invention provient de la trituration de graines de tournesol oleïque possédant une teneur de 77 à 81 % d'acide oléique (acide gras monoinsaturé). Cette huile est ensuite raffinée par un procédé permettant d'obtenir une huile alimentaire.Motor oil based on sunflower oil. Plus la teneur en acide gras monoinsaturé augmente, plus grande est la résistance à l'oxydation; d'où l'intérêt d'utiliser l'huile de tournesol oléique. De plus l'huile de tournesol réagit fortement aux additifs anti-oxydant.RESULT. Sunflower vegetable oil, with temperature, oxidizes much faster than mineral oil. MODE D'ACTION. Les produits d'oxydation des séléniures sont des dilauryl sélénoxydes. La décomposition des sélénoxydes donne naissance aux dialkyles sélénides dans une proportion élevée, ce qui produit une régénération de l'inhibiteur.MODE OF ACTION. Les polymères de la famille des OCP ( copolymères d'oléfine ) étant difficilement soluble dans l'huile de tournesol, il a été sélectionné un PMA ( polyméthacrylate ). AUTRES ADDITIFS. La formule finale contient tous les autres additifs indispensables dans une huile moteur. ( anti-usure, anticorrosion, anti-mousse, détergent, dispersant). Ces additifs peuvent évoluer dans le temps ou être utilisés à des dosages différents afin de créer une gamme ( huile pour moteurs essence ou diesel ou mixte essence/diesel).OTHER ADDITIVES. AVANTAGES. Utiliser une huile végétale pour produire de l'huile moteur en lieu et place de l'huile minérale apporte de nombreux avantages sur le plan technique et économique, ce qui justifie la mise en industrialisation de cette invention.
