Abstract

The procedure for changing the appearance of rough cut cellular concrete blocks into that of coloured stone consists of scraping the concrete on all its surfaces and corners. The concrete blocks are then stained with an aqueous solution of yellow and red oxide with water repellent additives.

Description

DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
The present invention aims to transform the appearance of cellular concrete, so as to give it the appearance, appearance and color of the stone.

Initially, aerated concrete is a product which has a white appearance with sharp edges whose appearance is bnut of factory cut and hardly accepts tinting products (Figure 1).

Selon mon invention, la transformation du béton cellulaire se fait manuellement à l'aide d'un outil (appelé chemin de fer).According to my invention, the transformation of aerated concrete is done manually using a tool (called railroad).

With the tool, it scrapes all the angles over a width of one centimeter so as to allow, during installation, an old-style joint.

Then, with the same tool, all the external surfaces of aerated concrete are scraped so as to highlight asperities that make it look like stone (Figure 2) and allow to erase the sawing marks of the factory.

Then comes a preparation made of yellow and red oxide, mixed with water according to the desired color, plus liquid water repellent, all diluted, this preparation is spread with a brush on cellular concrete.

La même transformation Deut être utilisée Industriellement. The same transformation Can be used Industrially.

The scraping and cutting of the angles being carried out mechanically and the color being made in the manufacture of aerated concrete, different baths allow nuances, the aerated concrete is thus dyed in the mass.

The cellular concrete thus transformed has the appearance of stone, without the disadvantages (weight, price, lack of insulation). Advantages: sound and heat insulation, lightness and affordable price because the finished product does not require plaster or other products for finishing.
