Abstract

The display panel (5) is supported by cables (2) which are anchored (3,4) to the floor, ceiling or wall. Description

 The present invention relates to a display device of the type using stretched cables, on which are suspended poster supports, presentation shelves, or the like, by means of fixing elements.

 The invention relates essentially to an improvement linked to the fastening elements.

 Many documents provide display devices.

Among these, document FR-A-1,560,479 relates to a display of the type in which the exhibits are arranged on supports fixed on cables fixed by their ends, respectively to the ceiling and to the floor of the exhibition hall. or of the display case, characterized in that each end of a cable is attached to a piece forming a piston and capable of sliding in a socket provided with one side of means for fixing it in a removable manner on a piece of anchor permanently installed on the ceiling and on the ground, and comprising at its end a bottom having an axial hole for the passage of the cable, the piston of the upper end of the cable bearing against the perforated bottom of the corresponding sleeve by means of 'a ball stop, while the lower end of the cable bears against the bottom of the corresponding sleeve by means of a spring, this bottom of the lower sleeve being integral with a thread rod screwed into the anchor to form a tensioner.

 This document explains how to tension cables without explaining how poster holders can be hung from them.

 The document FR-A-2,272,627 relates to a device for hanging cables on which can be fixed generally cylindrical hooking pieces comprising at the location of one of its circular faces a cylindrical blind hole. A tapped hole emerging, on the one hand in the blind hole and, on the other hand in the cylindrical face of the part, allows the screwing of a locking screw of a shelf or the like. The part also comprises a semi-circular slot of width substantially equal to the diameter of the cable and two tapped holes overlapping this slot and making it possible to block a cable housed in the slot by means of two screws screwed into the tapped holes.

 The document FR-A-2.267.241 relates to a device for the removable and adjustable fixing of a shelf on a cable or a rod extending vertically, comprising clamping means on the cable or the rod and means of receiving the tablet, characterized in that the receiving means comprise a single branch extending substantially horizontally and traversed by a through hole for a connecting screw engaging the thickness of the tablet.

 These last two documents propose a fixing on a cable stretched by means of elements each comprising a simple slot to receive the cable and also forming in part the longitudinal axis of a thread overlapping the slot so that a screw can immobilize the cable at the bottom of said slot.

 The present invention provides an improvement to these last two documents, consisting of the separate arrangement in the space of the tapping and of the slot, which is a guarantee of reliability since the cable, according to these documents, passes at the level of the tapping, the latter can be damaged by the cable, especially since the production of said tapping in two parts further increases the number of points which can be damaged.

 In this regard, the invention relates to a display device of the type using cables, or rods, stretched between anchoring pieces fixed at fixed points, such as floor, ceiling, wall, frame, on which are suspended. , by means of removable fixing elements, objects such as a poster support, presentation shelf, lighting device, characterized in that each fixing element comprises, on the one hand, receiving means of the object to be fixed and, on the other hand, means for positioning and immobilizing the cable or the like, that the means for positioning the cable are formed by a groove of L-shaped cross section, and that the means immobilization consist of at least one screw, which is in contact with said cable housed at the bottom of the groove when the screw is screwed into a thread of the fixing element, provided for this purpose.

 The immobilization means of each fastening element are positioned in the longitudinal extension of the branch of the L where the bottom of the groove is located, receiving the cable or the rod, said immobilization means and said branch, where the bottom is located groove, being placed on either side of the plane passing through the remaining branch of said groove.

 According to one embodiment, the groove of the positioning means is located on the front face or on the rear face of each fastening element.

 According to another embodiment, the groove of the positioning means is located on one of the lateral faces of each fastening element.

The removable and adjustable fastening elements consist of suspension spacers for the poster supports, each spacer is formed from a piece with a profile in

 The removable and adjustable fastening elements consist of shelf supports, each shelf support comprises a first socket carrying positioning and immobilizing means and a second socket, movable in rotation relative to the first socket, which has a groove of implantation forming the reception means and receiving a presentation tablet.

 The cables or the supporting rods of the fastening elements are secured in the upper and / or lower position by means of the anchoring parts, to a rail itself fixed to the floor, to the ceiling, to the wall and / or to the frame.

 The rails, cables, rods, anchors and electrical connectors conduct the electric current which supplies the lamps with lighting for poster stands and / or presentation shelves.

 The cables or the rods comprise, in the upper position, suspension hooks whose shape is intended to cooperate with the upper shape of a rail fixed to the wall or to the ceiling by a lug.

 The rail comprises, within it, a spar which contains electrical conductors, each conductor being in electrical contact with a cable or a rod, which is specific to it, when the hook is in position on the rail.

 The attached drawings are given as indicative and non-limiting examples. They represent different preferred embodiments according to the invention. They will allow the invention to be easily understood.

 Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the display device according to 1 invention, which is fixed using a ceiling light.

 The present invention relates to an improved display device 1, the essential purpose of which is to improve the reliability and use of such devices.

 In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 and 2, the display devices 1 use cables 2, which are stretched between anchor pieces 3, in the upper position, and anchor pieces 4 in the lower position. These anchoring parts 3 and 4 are fixed at fixed points such as the floor, ceiling, wall, frame, which are not shown in the figures.

 Of course, it is possible to use rods instead of cables 2.

 Along these cables 2, a number of fixing elements 8, 9 and 10 are arranged, which are removable and can be positioned along each cable 2. They are intended to fix objects, such as supports for poster 5, presentation shelves 6 or lighting devices 7, as is well represented in FIG. 1.

 The essence of the invention relates to an improvement of these fixing elements 8, 9 or 10, which may be constituted by suspension spacers 8, as shown in Figures 3 to 7, but also electrical connectors, see Figures 9 and 10, and shelf supports 10, see Figures 13 and 14.

 The constant between these three different types of fastening elements 8, 9 or 10 consists in the presence, on the one hand, of means 18, 19 or 20 for receiving the object to be fixed and, on the other hand, cable positioning and immobilization means 2.

 More practically, the positioning means 21 of the cable 2 are formed by a groove 21, the cross section of which has an L shape, as can be seen in FIGS. 3, 6, 8, 11 and 13.

 The immobilization means 22, for their part, consist of at least one screw 22, which is in contact with said cable 2 housed at the bottom of the groove 21, when the screw 22 is screwed into a thread 23 of the fixing element 8, 9 or 10 provided for this purpose.

 In fact, the screw 22 will be able to isolate the cable 2 at the bottom of the groove 21, that is to say prevent its unexpected return to the outside of the positioning means 21, but in addition, the screw 22 will be able to come block, at the bottom of this groove 21, the cable 2 which will be immobilized and will allow the good performance of the different elements 8, 9 or 10, as well as objects that the elements 8, 9 or 10 support.

 For this to be possible, it is necessary that the immobilization means 22, of each fastening element 8, 9 or 10, be positioned in the longitudinal extension of the branch of L where the groove bottom is located 21. Said means immobilization 22 and said branch where the groove bottom 21 is located are therefore placed on either side of the plane passing through the remaining branch of said groove 21.

 In FIGS. 3 to 7, the suspension spacers 8 allow the poster supports 5 to be fixed.

According to a nonlimiting embodiment, each spacer 8 is formed of two essential parts, on the one hand, an L-shaped part 11 which carries the positioning means 21 and immobilization 22 and which cooperate with, on the other hand, a locking latch 12, movable in rotation according to the arrows
F3 and F4 of Figure 7, around a screw 13 also serving as an axis of rotation.

 As can be seen in FIGS. 3 and 6, the spacer 8 has a U-shaped profile when the catch 12 is in the locked position, thus forming the receiving means 18.

 On the other hand, in the unlocked position, the catch 12 will allow the display support 5 to pass, as can also be seen in FIG. 2.

In this FIG. 2 and as can also be seen in FIG. 6, the poster support 5 consists of a fixed plate 26, which is secured to the L-shaped part 11 by means of a screw 31 ,
This fixed plate 26 comprises, in its lower part, lugs 28 allowing the movable plate 27 to be held in position. In fact, the lugs 28 are only there to prevent falling by simple gravity of the movable plate 27.

 The latches 12, in the locked position, hold the movable plate 27 against the fixed plate 26. Between these two plates 26 and 27 can be placed a poster 29.

 In order to keep the two plates 26 and 27 in position, it is necessary to use a locking jumper 30, located in the upper position, which presses and secures the two plates 26 and 27 together.

 In FIGS. 8 to 10, the electrical connectors 9 comprise two lateral housings 19, forming the receiving means 19, which immobilize two conductors 14, by means of radial tapped holes comprising locking screws.

 In FIGS. 13 and 14, the shelf support 10 comprises two sockets which cooperate together using a fixing means forming an axis 24.

 The first socket 16 carries the positioning means 21 and immobilization 22, while the second socket 17, movable in rotation along F5 and F6 in Figure 14, allows a good inclination of the presentation shelf 6, position which is stabilized by tightening a screw located in the second socket 17 and coming to secure the shelf 6 with said second socket 17.

 This fixing takes place at the level of the implantation groove 20, which also forms the receiving means 20.

 As can be seen in FIG. 1, the cables 2, carrying the fixing elements 8, 9 and 10, are secured, in the upper position, by means of the anchoring parts 3 to a ceiling lamp 25, itself fixed on a fixed point.

 The use of such ceiling lights 25 over the entire length of the display cases makes it possible to position the various display devices at the places and places chosen by the fitter. These ceiling lights 25 therefore allow great flexibility of use for such devices.

 To further improve the efficiency of such display devices 1, it is necessary that the overhead lights 25, the cables 2, the anchoring parts 3 and 4 and the electrical connectors 9 conduct the electric current which supplies the lamps with the lighting. 15 of poster supports 5. But the current and the lighting could also supply lighting devices for the presentation shelves 6 or other devices, not provided in the figures.

 According to another embodiment of a suspension spacer presented in Figures 11 and 12, a different locking latch 32 can be used. This latch 32 has a groove which will allow it to be fixed on a part with an L-shaped profile with an additional tab not referenced, but which comprises the positioning means 21 and immobilization means 22.

 This positioning of the catch 32 is carried out by sliding along F2, and its removal is carried out by sliding along F1 in FIG. 11.

 Although the use of a ceiling light 25 is viable, it is still necessary to provide electrical wires as well as fixing points for the anchoring parts 3 and 4. Depending on the size of the display device 1, the length of the wires and the positioning of the fixing points will vary.

 An attachment system for the display devices 1 has therefore been produced which is even more flexible in use.

 As seen in Figure 19, this system consists of a rail 35, also well shown in Figures 15 to 18, of oblong transverse shape with rounded ends. This rail 35 has a slot 42 giving access to a housing 43. This housing 43 contains a spar 39 which is partially conductive of very low voltage electric current.

 The spar 39, as seen in FIG. 16, is brought closer to the rail 35 along F7. In fact, the longitudinal member 39 is introduced by lateral sliding in the rail 35.

 The spar 39 is, in fact, made up of two conductive angles 40 and 41, one in positive, the other in negative. One of the wings of each angle iron 40 and 41 is directed outwards at the level of the slot 42. The two angles 40 and 41 are mounted on an insulating plate 44 and separated by an insulating mass 45.

 The structure of the rails 35 is intended to cooperate with rods 33, as shown in FIG. 18. The fixing between rails 35 and rods 33 is ensured by suspension hooks 34. In reality, there is an insulating part 46 which carries the rod 33, the hook 34 and an electrical pad 47 for contact with an angle iron 41 which is specific to it. The rod 33 is fixed by a screw 48 which immobilizes it in a housing provided for this purpose. According to FIG. 19, the rail 35 is fixed by legs 38, fixed to the wall 36 or to the ceiling 37, which have two jaws 49, in the form of an electrically insulated angle iron, one of the wings of each jaw 49 , enters the housing 43 and immobilizes the rail 35.

Claims (11)

 1. Display device (1) of the type using cables (2), or rods (33), stretched between anchoring pieces (3 and 4) fixed at fixed points, such as floor, ceiling, wall , frame, on which are suspended, by means of removable fixing elements (8, 9 and / or 10), objects such as poster support (5), presentation shelf (6), device lighting (7), characterized by the fact  that each fixing element (8, 9 or 10) comprises, on the one hand, means (18, 19 or 20) for receiving the object to be fixed and, on the other hand, means for positioning and immobilization of the cable (2) or other (33),  that the positioning means (21) of the cable (2) are formed by a groove (21) of L-shaped cross section, and  that the immobilization means (22) consist of at least one screw (22), which is in contact with said cable (2) housed at the bottom of the groove (21) when the screw (22) is screwed into a thread (23 ) of the fixing element (8, 9 or 10), provided for this purpose.  2.
