Abstract

Green clay-based compsn. based for application to the body comprises a water soluble alginate and a gelling agent. The green clay is pref. present in an amt. of 40-80 wt.%. The alginate is pref. sodium and/or potassium alginate and the gelling agent is calcium sulphate. The compsn. is in the form of a powder with particle a size of < 40 mu m and it may also contain a gelling regulator.
