Abstract

The envelope (1) comprises a pocket (2) which can be closed and sealed by a flap (4). Rapid opening of the flap is obtained by a single perforated line (8), parallel to the flap rotational axis (5), which extends between the two lateral edges (4a,4b) of the flap at the level of a portion which is not sealed. The perforated line has a cut (9) on one lateral edge of the flap. The perforations extend between the end point of the cut and the other edge of the flap. The flap is sealed by an adhesive contained on its free edge or on a corresponding part of the external surface (7) of the pocket. The flap has weakened cut-outs (10) which are torn when the flap is taken off.
