Abstract

The management device is for a television distribution network having a double network of high frequency transmission cables. One network carries the television signals and the other carries the authorisation signals to connect and disconnect individual television receivers to requested television signals.The individual televisions have a decoding circuit to decode the signals associated with pay television or to allow free programs to pass through. The individual set is identified and a high frequency relay used to connect it to the selected signal source. Operation of the relays is controlled by a computer in response to entries made by staff, or to signals from the user requesting access to a programme.

DESCRIPTION
La présente invention concerne un dispositif pour exploiter un parc de téléviseurs en location.L'exploitation traditionnelle d'un parc de téléviseurs nécessite le déplacement de personnel et la manutention des postes. Le dispositif selon l'invention met en oeuvre: un ordinateur équipé d'un logiciel de commande, une carte émission, un amplificateur de signal de commande, des doubles répartiteurs télécommandés, d'un double réseau coaxial et d'une station de tête adéquate (figure 1). Un opérateur tabule un ordre de connexion d'un téléviseur donné. Le logiciel écrit à l'adresse hexadécimale 031 C une configuration binaire sur 12 points correspondantàcelle affectée au téléviseur (patte là 11 figure 5).La mise à 1 de la patte 37 du circuit périphérique de l'ordinateur détermine un ordre de connexion. La mise à 0 de la patte 37 de l'adaptateur de circuit périphérique de l'ordinateur détermine un ordre de déconnexion.
DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a device for operating a fleet of rental televisions. The traditional operation of a fleet of televisions requires the movement of personnel and the handling of stations. The device according to the invention implements: a computer equipped with control software, a transmission card, a control signal amplifier, double remote-controlled splitters, a double coaxial network and an adequate head station (figure 1). An operator tabulates a connection order for a given television. The software writes to hexadecimal address 031 C a 12-point binary configuration corresponding to that assigned to the television (tab there 11 figure 5). The setting to 1 of tab 37 of the peripheral circuit of the computer determines a connection order. Setting leg 37 of the computer's peripheral circuit adapter to 0 determines a disconnection order.

Le circuit Hautes Fréquences de la carte est constitué de 2 répartiteurs 8 directions et de contacts réalisant les connexions Hautes Fréquences (figure 6).
