Abstract

The boot has a rubber sole (1) with a raised part (1') in the rear of the heel. Part of the heel has studs with an external peripheral reinforcement under them. Description

 The present invention relates to a shoe of the so-called hiking type. It relates more particularly to a hiking shoe comprising improved breastwork and optionally an improved lacing system.

 Hiking shoes currently have a traditional sole, comprising a non-profiled midsole, except in certain cases with regard to the arch of the foot, as well as a outsole comprising on its main face spikes constituted by protuberant sculptures intended to improve grip.

 We have now found that we can progress towards such an optimization and achieve other advantageous results by making a sole assembly for hiking boots comprising a wear sole, advantageously made of rubber, comprising consecutively from the rear to the front. a part raised behind the heel, a heel part provided with spikes and comprising an external peripheral reinforcement under the spikes, a camber zone comprising an internal peripheral reinforcement, a forefoot area having a wide curvature, provided with spikes and comprising an external peripheral reinforcement under the studs, and an end portion raised on the upper towards the toe, as well as a lateral rise substantially over the entire periphery of the upper, this rise comprising reliefs of spikes and being more pronounced at the front and rear ends and at the camber.

 The first object of the invention is therefore a hiking shoe comprising a outsole as defined above.

 It has also been found that this new type of outsole gives better results when combined with a midsole, preferably made of polyurethane, having a progressive anatomical thickness, under the entire surface of the foot. This results in full depreciation.

 The invention thus also relates to a hiking shoe having a outsole as described above and, under the entire surface of the foot, a sole or midsole, preferably made of polyurethane, having a progressive anatomical thickness.

 According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the sole assembly according to the invention further comprises an anatomical rise in protection and sealing of the intermediate layer on the periphery of the rod.

 The intermediate layer is preferably produced by overmolding the wear layer.

 Another object of the invention is therefore a hiking shoe having a outsole as described above and an insole or midsole whose peripheral profile is such that it guarantees an anatomical rise in protection and sealing on the periphery. of the stem.

 It has also appeared that a hiking shoe according to the invention can under certain conditions be worn with an impression of improved comfort when it is only half laced, that is to say laced on the lower part. stem only.

 It was therefore appropriate that the lacing / unlacing operations of such a shoe are facilitated and that the good performance of the lacing stopped substantially at mid-height is ensured.

 It has been found that these results can be obtained easily, together with improved ease of use, by means of lacing hooks of a new type, which will be described in more detail below and which are characterized by an asymmetry such as ( both for the left hooks and for the right hooks, which are then different) the radius of curvature of the lower part of the hook is less than that of the upper part, thus shifting upwards the point where the two different curvatures meet.

 Advantageously, a profile of substantially the same type is provided for the hooks of the self-locking type "on which the lacing can be stopped and which thus retain the unused lace reserve.

 According to this preferred embodiment, the hiking shoe according to the invention can be worn at will with more or less complete lacing and provides greater ease of lacing and unlacing.

As the drawings clearly show, the shoe includes:

 The outsole 1 is bonded or injected directly onto the intermediate layer 3, which is itself conventionally applied to the external face of the first mounting (not shown).

 According to an advantageous embodiment, the angle on the horizontal of the forefoot zone having a wide curvature is approximately 180 (angle ss in FIG. 2). A hiking shoe conforming to the present invention is proven to provide exceptional grip and comfort, as well as other advantages such as very good foot protection and improved lacing ease, these advantages and others being notably attributable in the presence of:
- an intermediate layer providing shock absorption and provided with an anatomical lift for foot protection;
- a front lift outsole providing improved grip and unwinding and a rear lift outsole providing improved grip and protection;
- a outsole with rounded edges at the periphery with studs on the sides for better lateral stability and an enveloping visual aspect of the foot;
- peripheral reinforcement of the outsole, giving natural rigidity, with camber continuity.

 It should also be noted that, in the present text, the term “hiking shoe” means an all-terrain walking shoe, even for walking in the mountains, including for trekking.
